Absolutely love how you use 2 separate brushes. Using a regular gel brush with a liner brush as well is a game changer. Thank you for putting out videos full of useful tips and tricks. Already ordered the dual forms after you showed them in the other video. Love this technique!!!

@@mgi6659 i think avoiding filing can be benifical for some, including if you do this in your house to avoid breathable dust, the gel i have actually compromised my immune system, i got sick on and off for about 1.5 weeks! i'd get better in 24 hours, do my nails for practice, file file file, get sick for a day, be better in 24 hours, by the 3rd time i put 2 and 2 together, put on a mask got a dust collector, turned on the fan and oppened the windows :"D
I have a dust collector and wear a mask . No dust is good for you .

I used this method on a broken short nail and it worked like a charm!! I used the Russian dual forM to Create the length and c-curve base. After curing it, I used traditional dual form on top to creat the structure and it came out perfect!

This turned out so good, at 1st I was like huh... that looks uncomfortable, but then when you moved the dual form I was like OHHH!! LOL. I'm so gonna do this as I stopped doing polygel due to the nasty underside!! "The dark side of polygel" lol. Thanks Denise!

I have to use this technique because I am Very Allergic to the adhesive on paper forms! For a long time I thought I was allergic to the gel, but after much elimination, I Finally realized it was the forms.

I have spent days looking for this technique not knowing if it was possible. Thank you for making this video. I will be trying that today on at lest two nails to see how this works for me I have extremely thin nails and I have a feeling this will work better plus my nails grow weirdly curling at the sides up and down usually on the same nail. Love your nail Chanel and your creativity. I’ve given up on Dual Forms and first time took me like 6 hours. I have problems with underside of nail of over buildup of either acrylic or gel. I have a hairstylist license and bought one product from supply store and so sticky even with isopropyl alcohol so that polygel I won’t use. I’m going to try the gel in a pot like sculpting or builder gel like you did. Can I use these Russian nail tips or forms on top of nail if I wanted to and sculpt the nail. It’s hard doing this with your non dominant hand. Also I wanted to buy the detail brush you used and cleaner tip for gel as I didn’t see the link for it. I love this this technique you posted. I will search where to buy star nail builder gel. Maybe Sally’s Nail store. Thanks from 🇨🇦😍

Love this!!! I have pretty flat nail beds, so duoforms always wanna pop off when I lay them on top. Not so with this method! 😊

This is a great way to position nail forms Denise this is the first time I’ve seen them done this way looks lovely and strong too, I like the mixture you made it’s a beautiful soft white I’m still waiting for my 2 white gels to arrive it’s strange because I bought 4 more colours the day after I bought the 2 white gels from that AliExpress seller I’ve had the 4 coloured gels from them over a month yet the 2 white gels I’m still waiting for them it may be because i bought 4 why they were shipped faster? Beautiful! I'm still trying to perfect polygel and they are still breaking after a few days. They look beautiful tho until then.
Make sure to build proper structure and thickness . That’s the reason they are breaking .

What a cool idea! I'm for sure trying this today on my stubby lil fingers. I say stubby cause I've been a nail biter for years I picked up the habit as a child and never stopped. So I've always grown flimsy thumbnails that don't grow because they always break or rip off and I chew sometimes do this is a great idea for us women who have to wear some type of extension nail to make our fingers look printer more feminine. Especially for us fat stubby fingers women 😆

I know this was 3 years ago but just wanted to say you could always file the underside to get rid of the markings. Good job though. When I started with polygel I thought “Maybe I should put a form on then use the dial form over it to make both sides as smooth as possible”. Worked great once I learned how to put the paper forms on myself correctly. 😂🤣

Lol I tried to do this with a nail brake I had but it was with builder gel from madam glam it’s more running my nail was to curved I ended up with a sticky mess I didn’t like it I need to get the ysl dual forms

I'm no professional nail tech, I am just beginning to learn and I am starting with poly gel as I had a bad experience with acrylic.
