- My new Shoei GT-Air ll needed setting up with the pin lock visor and the Sena SLR2 integrated communication system. A bit of fumbling and muttering ensued. This is NOT a how to video. Just a fumbling fool doing his best to get the job done.

Great seeing kiwi on here👌👏
woah!! there buddy , way too bloody complicated👍🏻...good job though Marty great patience..
👍🏻☮❤
The magic of editing and the patience of a grumpy old bugger. Cheers springy mate. Are they still working you to the bone mate ??
@@volgnit yeah its a grueller ..13 hours every day....but i am off next Friday sat sun..going to mackies meet on saturday ..then back to the 13s for another month😥👍🏻☮❤
@@springy-2112 Tax man must love you fellas !!
@@volgnit he's moved in my spare bedroom 👍🏻☮❤
springy 2112 Whaaat ?? Where will I stay when I come to visit ??
Oh right.... with all the coin your earning you and yours will be coming here for your next holiday. Brilliant. Plenty of room here now. You’d look good on a Guzzi.
What sort of patience was that again Marty?🤔😁
I said it needed a TRUCK load Noel !!
@@volgnit Thought so. My hearing is shot now.😁
Looking good Marty in the new lid.
Lovin' it Nev, just lovin' it !!
hilarious (in a good way)...would like to see a video of you putting together a kid's swing set
That is one sweet helmet Marty and all wired for sound. Need to go on a ride and try it out soon.
It's really space age Lloyd. Google maps, music, phone calls, or silence. Who'd have thought when I started riding one or two years ago we would have this technology available.
Great video, I couldn’t stop laughing when you said it’s midnight and connected the Bluetooth on 🤣😂
"Did I break it?" have asked the same exact question trying to pop the visor off before 😂 hopefully you are enjoying the new lid! It looks nice.
Actually, I'm lovin' it !!
Man they sure wanted you to work for that! However you did it so gratz!
Cheers mate. I'm sure a clever bugger like yourself would've had it done in half the time.
Very nice helmet, ready to test drive, you made that look easy Marty. Sometimes what should be the easiest job comes with that frustration. Ride safe.
Thanks Bob. Would've been easy for a clever person. For me however, not so much. Lol !!
That whole limbo life is really working out for you I see! 👍😂.....amazing lid!.....”a lil bit of patience!” 😂😂😂 man you kill me Marty, too funny!
Next step in the Limbo dance. Motorcycles in the lounge. Just watch this mate. Lol !!
Yes! You got this!
Great modifications! Looked like a task though, if it was me you'd have head beep Beepbeepbeep!! Lol great job!!👊😎
Ha ha ha. Thjat's why I turned the cameras off a couple of times. Lol !!
This Sena set up looks interesting, I'm a bit tech challenged but fancy one. Love a good gadget but sometimes don't have the patience to fully learn all the features 👍
I could've got the shop to fit it but I thought, how hard can it be ?? Lol !! Thanks for watching.
By the way have a look at my latest upload. I’m giving away a Drift action camera to a lucky subscriber 😁
Just bought this helmet and I totally understand what you mean about the size up being wobbly. I grabbed a 2XL off the shelf as I normally wear 2XL, albeit I've only worn HJC. Noticed my head wasnt touching the headliner and cheek pads were uncomfortable. Went to an XL and it was way better. Abit snug but generally once the pads wear in it'll fit perfectly. I was happy to get a size that allowed me to get a matte black fable design. A change from normal gloss black helmets. Nice video!
Thanks for watching. I'm really enjoying the new lid.
You have more patience than me my friend :}
Well, I think we all know I edited out the really grumpy bits. Lol !! Thanks for watching though.
Nice helmet. I love my pinlock, wouldn’t ride without one. Lol I dunno but I think as tough as that was to get back together I would have paid them to do it lmao. Nice video.
I'm finding the pinlock aaaamaaaazing !! Especially as we are coming into winter here and it just will not fog up. Love it.
The shop would've installed it all for free but I was running late for work so I said, no problem, I'll do it. How hard can it be ??
Did you have any leftover bits! :)
Only the plastic "special tool" wedge thingy. Oh, and the bits that covered where the tricky bits went. It was pretty fool proof really.
Started this video right after I just did my pin lock and the first side came off no snap. Second side of visor popped off with that same snap. And I literally said “ I just broke it” haha. But we didn’t! Came here to see how to get the pads out for my Cardo system
I almost bought a Shoei but it just didn’t fit my odd head. Went with an Arai.
That's why I would never buy a helmet on line. Gotta try them on. We are all different and so are the helmets. Cheers Broncoride.
Thanks for the giggle mate 😂😂😂
You're welcome Scotty.
Some space age stuff there Mr V.
I am a decade or so behind but I'll catch up eventually. ;-))
It's pretty special for an old coot like me motonut.
And as for you "catching up," I know you're more techo in your little finger than I will ever be.
Btw, how's that anti-selfdeprecating app coming along ??
these vidos are cool
Just got my helmet. Thanks for the instruction
Have the GT AIR I, have enjoyed it so far but find it can be a bit weighty on the neck after awhile. Like the integrated comms in this one, far more streamlined than having to bolt one on. - Sir burg
I was forever turning the other comms up to max whenever I turned my head, so I'm loving this. Turns out this helmet is the same weight as my old HJC helmet. That surprised me.
And hey presto, as simple as that! 😁
Yeah. Just like that...........................................Lol !!
ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Very good
very good couple :)
It’s almost like performing brain surgery! I enjoyed watching! 👍 Hope you love it!
It certainly made my brain hurt at times. More to do with the fumbling fingers than anything I think. Lol !!
I hate this helmet too
