For rod holders, I much prefer a 6" x3"x1/4" piece of plastic with a 1" hole toward the end. Screw the end opposite the hole down to the sled so that it can pivot out from the side to fish, then pivot back to lay on top of the sled. It weighs nothing, doesn't get caught on gear or the tent, quick depoy and stow, should never break, and it's cheap.
The spreader poles are real nice if you plan on camping or staying out or if you get any sort of weather like snow when you’re out there. If your going just for few hours after work not necessary
Ya it's not too bad, with both chairs in it it still only weighs 80 pounds so it's a lot lighter than other 2 man flip overs. If I had a truck I'd turn it into Smitty sled, which would make it even easier to pull

Liking the mods....simple, relatively cheap, but seems way more convenient. Well done
Thank you! Next years upgrade will hopefully be a diesel heater build which would be nice. Propane works for now tho I guess

I'll be swapping to that style actually. I went out and didn't like those rod holders. Did you make your own or buy a pair from someone?
You can make them yourself from plastic cutting boards
@@naps3386 ok cool, I'll probably do that, thank you
Nice setup‼️looking forward to the 🧊 season. Still enjoying this Fall though
Thanks man! Ya the fall bite has been really good so far. Just keeps getting better from here too
Would a center pole for the front/back be beneficial? Seems like the fabric in the front is a bit loose and sags a bit
I have a pole for the back, but the front can be a bit loose.

@@BRoweeman707 ya I agree
Great mods.
Thanks, I can't wait to use them!
All ready for guiding me
Haha, that's right! We'll have to go chase walleye and crappie
Are you able to pull that around pretty easily Weight Wise Etc?

@@shandonbradfordoutdoors would it be tough for a guy to pull it around half the day on a small lake?
@@willcountydrone2022 No, you can do that. Especially with the harnesses they make to pull with
In your previous video, this was all unloaded by your car by the lake. How are you able to holler around the house and all your stuff with the car?
