I learned I was on a very outdated version of PCSX2 so I removed it completely and started from scratch with another tutorial for the version you have in the video, now I'm working on the rest of the video after the 4:57 mark (when I wrote this comment). THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I was going to a panic questioning since my car was offset, but once I do a fresh boot of the game it all went fine. too bad I got low-spec laptop so I gotta tweak the settings a bit but it works fine and neatly now

PS: I had to enable all the settings for the properties of the game itself, including checking the patches. this is a new game now. cant believe im playing midnight club and its looking like gta5
i have a problem, when i try to save the codes as, it either does nothing or the resulting piece of text does not show up as pnach, please help me
You have to type "60A42FF5.pnach" when saving it as "all files" into your new folder

No problem 💯 just search up MC3 cheats on google for ps2 and it’ll give you all the cheats you need
idk why but my game is slowing down sometimes to 80-95% on the high speed
You have the latest version of pcsx2? If its the 2.1 version its definitely having issues with maintaining 60fps when overclocking unfortunately

Something REALLY bad happened yesterday.
A while back my 100% MC3 save got corrupted, so later I imported my MC3 original save and decided to just do Tokyo again. Yesterday, my save broke again. Thankfully I had made a backup in case something like this happened again.
So all is good right? WRONG! It gets so, SO much worse. I boot up my backup, AND ITS CORRUPTED TOO. Seriously how did that even happen.

@@OneDeepwell I think I figured something. I’m using my CFW PS3 to play the game. For a long while I have been mounting the game’s ISO file via Webman. I decided to download the official rerelease from the PS2 Classics line as it uses a different save game format than if you mounted the ISO. I’m gonna try that and see if it works better. I’m gonna have to replay the game entirely, but I was planning on doing that anyways.

why is my game running at 60fps when sitting still, but as soon as i start driving it goes down to 30fps within 2 seconds

My game when i get to the borders of the map goes to 60 but when i turn to the middle of the map it goes 30 i have a 2060 so i don't understand why.
You probably need to overclock your game to 300% if your running 60fps

I tried the version with max money but when i started the game i only had the standard amount of starting money.
Did i do something wrong? Everything else works but i don't have max money
If your starting the game fresh, you might have to re format your save with a new pnach file thats in the description with the max money, just gotta make sure its in your cheats folder first before you start the game

Maybe just run it at 1080 or 1440p as your resolution and keep it at 30fps.. so essentially what i shown, but backwards lol

Try overclocking the game to 300% in the game priority settings, that always works for 60fps for me

You probably need to enable your cheats on your emulator itself perhaps

Most graphic settings should work besides the HD texture pack unfortunately

I did this and for some reason my car is like weirdly sliding sideways going through traffic. Somethings up I dont know. And headlights are seeing through solid objects
I can't tell if that might be a HD texture issue, let alone the weird sideways slide
And my camera is off to the side mostly to the left and headlights and stuff are not aligning with vehicles

I need some help here, please!!! I have configured all the settings (60 fps, disable motion blur, widescreen, 300%) and the game was working perfectly, I was play 6x resolution with 60 fps all the time without any fps drops. game was smooth. Then suddenly today it started running in slow motion, without changing nothing! I don't know what to do, dont know what caused this, the game is unplayable now :( pls someone help me
Obs.: I updated nvidia to the latest driver today, and also updated pcsx2, and after that it happened. dont know if that was a possible cause
Maybe lower down the resolution back to 4x or 1440p, and if its still happing… maybe idk if that might be cus of 60fps in general, maybe see if reverting it back to 30fps could help as well

Ok, I tried a few things and here’s what happened:
I tried various combinations of patches, disabling some, and enabling others. To resume, I was able to fix it by disabling all the patches that says “1080p” on it. Now the game is running smooth again 60 fps on 6x res. Unfortunately, it may have disabled the widescreen fix but…. Now I can play again
they aint givin homies any credit nowadays...... 😢

The HUD should be a rounder circle, not an oval, right? :(

Check your graphics settings your emulator it self, pcsx2 did a update where you can just Check ☑️ the HUD fix itself, rather then just using patch files

I used to have a meh pc so none of it ran smooth in the past and i gave up but since then i've gotten much better parts and in the last few days i got my game looking amazing with 60fps and did all the online tutorials and everythings working. Hi, do you have HDR monitor? have the same setup, except my colors are washed out, not as deep and vibrant as yours.
I do have HDR but i never use it tbh, you can fine tune your saturation and sharpness through your game properties in the emulator as well 💯

It might be your overclocking in your game settings or maybe lower your resolution size, because it all depends on your PC specs overall as well

I'm new to emulating and I just painstakingly found out that I had the EU/PAL version of the game. The codes you've listed are for the US/NTSC version of the game.
I now have 2 copies of MC3 - One for EU (No cheats work) and one for US - (cheats work) - Just wanted to point that out.
Aww dang, i honestly didn't know that the patches didn't work for curtain ISO games 😶 i would think it would all be the same tbh
question: Where is my "notepad?" like is it a notepad file or do i just put it on the notepad program im new to emulating ps2 games and im not sure
Type in "notepad" at the bottom left of your pc taskbar, paste the codes onto the notepad, then save the file into your new cheats folder you had created

Yo i was able to get this going and its smooth!! Only prob is i ran the 60fps script first, then decided i wanted the cash so edited the notepad file an overwrote the file saved in the cheats folder but the cash isn't there. Is there a way to clear a cache or something? Seems like the emulator is still working off of memory of the original .pnach
If its stuck on 60, might be because your emulator might have it set on 60 through its settings itself, or you can copy/paste the patches on the notepad and find the 60fps to remove it and still keep the money, then save it as a new pnach file

I never heard that one lol.. shit im not to sure tbh, maybe change your resolution size? Maybe just tweek some display settings on your game properties too see if anything works out
Or maybe restart your emulator to make sure everything is running/installed for sure

hey one question, when i did the texture update and 60fps for some reason the screen tears slightly and also the subtitles are also sped up and the text after a race is finished goes outside the box, is there anyway to fix it?
Maybe turn on the V sync for the screen tearing, hopefully that fixes it.. if not, make sure your monitor is set too the highest FPS possible 👌 now for the subtitles is probably cus 60fps is too fast for the game to render i think so idk on that one lol and the text outside the box is due too having the HUD fix because 16:9 resolution wise isn't fully completed as of right now sadly, so there technically isn't a way too fix it unless you wanna remove the HUD fix itself.. but so far as of right now this is the best we can have... but aye still looks great though lol

@@OneDeep I got a problem with the hud fix the map is bugged out it shows Carlos is on the map but his blue arrow is not showing and it doesn’t show my arrow on the map also the loading screens look really bugged out

If it crashes after doing all of those settings, its ether your patch notes you’ve installed into your game, or your emulation settings in itself.. so you’d probably need to start from scratch and see what settings it is that causing your game to crash
Also depends on your PC specs as well, it lowkey is a demanding game

2TB M.2 from Crucial
Motherboard - AsRock A320M-HDV
Most of these were upgraded, I originally bought this as a prebuild.
Monitor i use is a M28U from Gigabyte (4K@144hz)
So i pasted the max money patch and didnt worked... lame

idid everything , wide screen working patch working, but my game doesnt go over 45 fps... Btw i have a RX 580 16GB ram and Fx 8300 . After the cheat command my game have fps issues . any fix? @@OneDeep
try going to the properties of the game itself, check the patches, do 16:9 in graphics and 4k in rendering

phew then i dont know, that worked for me. If your cpu and graphic card are good enough i dont see the problem (not a pro thou). you could also try to reinstall the emulator. maybe try the newest nightly version, thats what im running

I did as you said, and i'm getting 24-30 fps, the sound keeps slowing and increasing. Is it because i have 8GB of RAM?
Mayyybe, 16gb definitely does help but im not sure why it would still slow down even with 30fps
@@OneDeep Also another thing. the code listed on the site, do i just copy n paste it to a notepad and toss it on the cheats? Does the name also matter? Also i didn't expect to answer so quickly zamn!
I got chu 💯 but yes once its on your notepad you have to “save as” and name it as a pnach file as showed in the video, otherwise it wouldn’t work
