My crafting goals are to not keep a big list this year. I've found it stresses me out. But keeping a very short list and trying not to add to it until I've finished one of the items on it helps. So, keep a rolling list of "what's next." Also, I want to finish some of my UFOs and try to make better plans for October (in addition to Halloween, it's a very birthday heavy month for my family). Oh, and I'm trying very very hard to make garments that are actually something I'd wear. Yes, that cosplay inspired outfit is gorgeous, but let's face it, I'll never wear it. Ever. And then it'll sit in my closet for a literal decade and I'll feel guilty every time I look at it. So to summarize, my crafting goals this year are too refocus on using crafting for my mental health instead of an obligation to myself or anyone else.
Yes! Your wellbeing should always come first. I love that you have zoned in on how to take back your crafting for you. I can absolutely relate to having the “things I will actually wear” vs “the super pretty OTT outfit that is very tempting”. I have a suitcase full of costumes that I probably only use 20% of. I completely forgot to add UFOs to my list but I might try and tackle one a month so it’s not too overwhelming.

My crafting goals for this year - finish as much UFOs as possible, since I cut fabric in a blink of an eye and then just leave it
That is an excellent goal! I might have to join you in that and try and tackle one UFO month.
@@ICastMending yeah, that's pretty much how I told myself to do👌
What are plans, precious? I just chaotically move from project to project as the desire strikes
