How to Make Halloween Hair Horns
In this Fun Halloween Spooky Project we are making some horns!
I used these for a costume as Jude Duarte from Holly Black's Folk of the Air series. They are super quick to make and the steps are pretty flexible so you could adapt them for many a hair construction feat.
You will need felt, thread and some wool (or other) stuffing

Tentacle Candle Holder | Fun Halloween Project Spooky Time
มุมมอง 2092 ปีที่แล้ว
We're breaking out the sculpey again and making another spooky candle holder! You will need: - Sculpey - A short screw - A small frame and a frame backing or wood cut to fit - Paint - A candle (I used a small 1.5cm diameter candle but an LED one is better suited to this design) - Optional: nail polish - Dowel rod and foil (you could probably just use foil if you can get it stiff and realtively ...
Updating the Pumpkin Pillow pattern and how to make an insert
มุมมอง 1352 ปีที่แล้ว
For the first Halloween video, I'm taking you through how to make an insert for the free pumpkin pillow pattern. The pattern has been updated with correct stitch and row counts and as a bonus I've included a pdf pattern for the insert shown here. I do mention in the video that you can make it bigger to better fill out the pumpkin pillow. I recommend just scaling the pieces since it is designed ...
It's a d20 holder on your mug!
มุมมอง 2312 ปีที่แล้ว
Let’s make a dice holder that can sit on a mug! This concept is inspired by the amazing D&D mugs by Ave Rivera Studio. While I wait to get my greedy little dice goblin hands on one of their D&D dice mugs I thought it would be fun to play around with the idea and create a dice holder to go on a mug I already own. I use sculpey and model paints for this project but I recommend you also use some w...
Making a Pocket Goblin
มุมมอง 2732 ปีที่แล้ว
Just a casual cursed creation. This little pocket goblin was made using: - Sculpey - Armature wire or pipe cleaners - Thin bare wire - Wool roving - Optional sculpting tools - Fabric for clothing - Scraps of leather and fur (I used some bits of fable fur yarn from Knitpicks) - Citadel paint in moot green, flash gitz yellow, khorne red, catachan flesh (brown), abaddon black, corax white, and nul...
Extending a shawl to tie in the back (crochet and knit options!)
มุมมอง 1.6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
So, I’m slightly obsessed with those antique shawls (sometimes referred to as a sontag shawl or tie shawl) that wrap around and I figured it could be an easy adjustment to add some ties to the end of my Haunting Hollow Shawl! I take you through how to do a crochet version and a knitted version For this you will need Leftover yarn from knitting your shawl or another complementary yarn a crochet ...
How to knit and read at the SAME TIME!
มุมมอง 4132 ปีที่แล้ว
Following a comment on my last video (making a project bag with special book pocket), here is a tutorial on how to knit and read at the same time! AKA How to knit without looking and prop a book up so you can see it over your knitting. I learned how/got the confidence to do this from Kristen Lehrer’s video “How to knit without looking at your hands” Found here: th-cam.com/video/VQ-NoPcDkno/w-d-...
Making a project bag with a special book pocket!
มุมมอง 2622 ปีที่แล้ว
Let’s do a (sort of) thrift flip and make a big project bag! Not just any project bag though, this one has a special book pocket! Did this start because I learned to read and knit at the same time? Yes. But it morphed into an upcycle of an old cushion cover into a huge project bag (but really this ended up so much bigger than I thought it would be). For this you will need - 2m of lining fabric ...
Making some pants and a bodice
มุมมอง 2542 ปีที่แล้ว
Join me in making a corset/rennaisance bodice thing and a pair of wide leg gathered cuff pants! These were both pretty quick and simple to make. Everytime I make a pair of pants I'm reminded how simple they actually are once you understand how the pattern pieces come together. The fly is a little complicated but you can easily swap it for a centre back zip for an easier alternative. For the pan...

Making a (Foam) Paladin Sword and A New Knitting Pattern
มุมมอง 1422 ปีที่แล้ว
In honour of the Paladin's Pouch release (and let’s be honest also because it’s fun to try new skills) let’s make a paladin sword! This was my first time exploring foamcraft but I thought it was so fun and easy that I really wanted to share it with you. Sword Materials: - two foam puzzle mat squares - wooden dowel rod - hot glue - shoe fix - silicone filler - silver spray paint - black, brown a...
Making a Sea Sorcerer Gown
มุมมอง 2532 ปีที่แล้ว
Let’s do some stash busting/upcycling and create another full costume! Pulling on some D&D inspiration and throwing myself in the deepend to create a sea sorcerer! This was a very fun quick project that was a lot more free form as far as the pattern went. Using elasticated fabrics made this pretty forgiving in terms of fit and also made it surprisingly easy to cycle to the beach in (without the...
Learning to Hand Spin

This week we are diving into the wonderful world of spinning! I have only just started dabbling in hand spinning but I wanted to share the journey with you and take you through some of the things I've learned so far. Doesn't painting and sanding the stick risk destroying its virtues?
❤❤❤❤ super
Thank you (from 3 years into the future)!
thank you so much for the pattern! i wish i had money to give 😕
Thank u this was so helpful....luv it❤
Awesome ❤ thanks
The Giselle wrap is no longer available :( if anyone has the pattern or can find it let me know
This looks interesting. One specific use case I can think of is to attach this to the journal that one uses for journaling games.
Oooo! I love this!I think i might try this with cosclay as it will remain flexible.
As a forest witch stuck in a city, I must say, that take of you looking back to the camera took my heart by surprise. Amazing hat and absolutely gorgeous witch.
I just bought the pattern and I'm having a difficult time understanding how to start. Am I supposed to cast on two stitches on to each needle? I'm more of visual learner and would be greatly helpful to see how the beginning should look like when all stitches are cast on.
Thank you for your tutorial. I don't know if you're preparing for Halloween in the summer, but this is exactly what I needed to see new subscriber😊
Thank youuuu so much sis!💓💓💓💓
I know this is years later but I loved this video ❤ the music is very nice and I am sorry you hit your head!
Thank you for the tutorial, I can't wait to try making my own dice bag! ☺️
Nice looking stick. I didn't know how that cloth would work on it, but I must say, it added a lot to the character and look. Good job.
Show!
Muito legal! Congratulations!
Love this - and I love the music you selected to accompany the tutorial. odd question - I tried Shazam but to no avail - but do you recall the name of the piece in the beginning? Thank you for lovely tutorial!
Eu não consegui entender como ela uniu o cone com a aba...ficou meio confuso.
What is the purpose of the cloth???
Can’t wait to make this hat!
C est filmé d u peu trop près pour bien se rendre compte des etapes
Gorgeous hat! I love the rustic berries you added at the end. 😮
Very cool 😀

Very cute 😀
This is so lovely. Thank you for the inspiration.
Gracias 🤗
I’ve knit the moon dragon capelet by Lavish craft twice and love it, it’s very similar to the azure dragon.
I’m going around my backyard to find a branch my dad hasn’t mulched. In my pyjamas.
I’m planning to cosplay a Druid for my local medieval fair, this will be fun.
Olá amei sou brasileira ❤️
So adorable! Great job 🐸🐸
Good to see you!
Very artistic, beautiful 👌
Late getting here from Mid North NSW. Bendigo Mills have been my supplier for at least 30yrs, never fail to deliver fantastic yarns and wonderful service. I have a bundle of that Bellflower fibre just waiting to be spun - once I decide on the pattern and the requirements. Great video, thanks. I've seen the Finn Sheep Farm catalogue and now I will definitely be ordering some fleeces. Thanks for this video.
It's beautiful, but wouldn't it be easier to insert the wire BEFORE turning the outer brim pieces? Use a wide zigzag to stitch it to the edge.
How long does it take to cool?
Tysm!!!💗it turned out awesome!!🫶🏻✨I’m impressed!!
I love how you've dyed and embroidered on the knitting needle roll- it's a great way to repurpose and it still feels new! It looks like a great organisation method. 🥰
thanks
This is giving me great ideas for Christmas/birthday gifts for my fellow history/ren faire lovers.
Also, I’m shocked that you don’t have more views yet, especially considering how high quality your production value is. I sort of assumed that you had like 100k subscribers already when I found you! It’s always amazing to find these really great craft channels and I have zero doubt that you will continue to gain a following. I’m just proud to be in the first thousand ❤ Keep it up!!
Love all of these videos, and thank you so much for making them! The patterns and projects you use are always so inspiring 😊
thank you for this amazing pattern. It turn out much better than I could imagen 😍😍. I Love it.
can you do this without interfacing? i bought my fabric and didnt realises i needed it when ordering my martials and cannot get some in time for when i need this hat
This is so beautiful! It turned our very pretty! Also, Your editing is on point. Great job!
