    There are adjustments on the bottom of the turntable to adjust the speed. One potentiometer for 45rpm and one for 33.3.

      Yep. You're right. I never saw that, so thanks! Not exactly convenient for consumer adjustment, but it IS there.

    I have the audio technica lp60. Would it worth my money to buy this?

    • @vynyly

      Well, based on the stats, I'd say the LP60 and the DP29F are very similar. Not sure the Denon would be much of an upgrade on its own, but if you need to replace the LP60 (and that model is discontinued now), the Denon is a good option. For a little more money, you could even step up to the AT LP120, but that one is fully manual.

      If you have the original AT-LP60, it looks like, from the outside at least, this is the exact same turntable albeit with a slightly different design language.

    My DP 29f does not have ground cable, but yours does. I'm not sure if it actually has a ground cable.

      That's interesting. Is yours newer or older? I know this model has been available for a while.

      My new DP 29f did not come with a ground cable, even though the illustration shows that it does. I also did not get the 45 adapter as stated.

      The manual does say it should come with the 45 adapter. I'd be interested to see what Denon says about the lack of a grounding cable. Maybe they've redesigned the wiring to handle any grounding issues internally.

    Hi, nice video, I have a question, issue with mine, on used records with minimum scuff or hairline it skips, I know these produce clicks or pops, but in this turntable the skip. Is there a way to fix it?

      Without seeing it in person, my best guess is that something is off with your tracking force. It may be too light. This model doesn't seem to have an easy way to correct that. Back in the day, we would put a small coin on the headshell to add weight. That is, for sure, bad for your records and your stylus, but could be a way to see if tracking force is your issue.

    Hi i want to ask, which one is better denon dp 29F or Denon DP 200. Thanks!

    • @vynyly

      I've never used the 200, but I know the 29F is well liked.

    Y buy this TT a few months ago, very happy with it, but in Mexico the price is around 350 bucks. I found it in a sale for 150, but I already upgraded my speakers and my amplifier, what option I can consider for around 400 to improve the sound quality?

    • @vynyly

      It seems you may have done all you can. The biggest improvement would probably come from an upgraded needle/cartridge, but the DP-29F doesn't give you many options for that.

    My audiotechnica lp60x was at 34.6 and 45 as well. Chipmunk sound 😢 I tried very unsuccessfully to fix it at the bottom but it was the most annoying thing I’ve ever experienced… just sold it to a friend to will try to get it fixed for his daughter or just throw it away… at the moment no success for him either. So I’m thinking this demon will do for me. Think is the tone arm doesn’t lift then how do you clean the vinyls ?

    • @vynyly

      Yeah, probably have to clean the records off the turntable or spin the platter by hand, if you want to clean them on unit. The Denon runs around $200, so if you can spend just a little more, you'll open up a lot more options, for adjustment and manual control. I always recommend trying to find a refurbished 70's or early 80's turntable if you can.

    In the UK this table is £99!!

      Good price for a decent turntable! I just wish it had the capability of swapping out the entire cartridge instead of just the headshell. Would make it even more user-friendly.

    Strange...mine has no ground cable

    • @vynyly

      According to Denon, if yours doesn't have a ground cable, it just means it was built after they began to handle the grounding internally. You're fine. Just a design change.

    I know it's entry level and only $200 but it shows so much cheaper than that, not impressed at all. Much better options out there, disappointing for a Denon product.

    • @vynyly

      Can't disagree with that. It's also kind of light. That being said, as far as audio performance, it's solid.
