I did this multiple times before, but thank you for making the video. I did it so many times that I couldn't even get maps anymore.
What am i doing wrong. Im in a solo lobby, im going up to the tree but the map is never there, i got my camp set i. The exact spot you do, so why isnt the map spawning for me
If there is s bounty activity near it wont spawn. Fast travel elsewhere and come back so the bounty disappears. Then go to online menu and choose camp. The bounty should be gone and the map should spawn. That or you have a 3 day cooldown.

I colllected 15 maps and now i believe i am in cooldown, but since i have the lake isabella map, can i still do to lake money glitch while on cooldown, or does that only effect the maps spawning in?
I had a cool down for three days, the map spawned in twice then hasn’t spawned since at any tree and I’ve tried all of the cool down bypasses, anyone know how to get the maps back?
I did get 20 treasure maps, then I did open them and get all, then I did go back but now no treasure map spawns at the tree, is there maybe a cooldown after open a map? Because after the 20 map I did collect it did still spawn there but I don’t collect it because I don’t want more than 20. I need a lot of gold to unlock all the story’s, they would be the only reason to play for me rdr2 online.
Oh maybe because I did collect later a treasure map from chest because level 5 reward? Could that be the reason?

I don't know if you'll read this now or if you already solved it but basically when a random event like that happens (the old guy, the bounty in the bridge or even the train spawning) you have to fast travel to valentine and back to the camp, as many times until the map appears

All they gotta do is change camp from Heartland, go to story mode, then once they back online they can set up heartland camp again and they will be good to go.

Well it kinda works to get the 30 maps! Sometimes it sends you to the camp next to the river but it's still in front of the tree so the map appears. Nice video!

Ive done this twice and both times I could only do it 10 times then the map disappears and I have to wait for CD. and yes these glitches CANT be patched. I even use to do it after release on the ps4 (collectible force spawn) this has literally been out for YEARS.
I got as far as finding the chest once. Now the map wont spawn in the tree. Ive waited a day irl, fast traveled, logged out and back and paid all bounties. Nothing

Has the treasure maps glitch been patched?
I've been triggering the cooldown every three days for a month, but I never manage to get more than two treasure maps each time.
I usually don't comment on TH-cam, but I feel like I've tried everything possible, I've been doing that glitch for two years now, and I was pretty good at it. I was always able to get all the maps in 2-3 hours and never had any issues until about a month ago. Now, each time the cooldown is over after 3-4 days, the treasure map guy and the three map is back. However, once I get those 2 maps, I initiate the 3-day cooldown for both. So, I'm stuck getting 2 maps every 3-4 days.
I've tried everything, even testing on multiple alt accounts. I tried on PS4 by disconnecting my internet right away, and on PS5 by closing the app immediately after getting the map. On both consoles, I tried being alone in a session with VVV
1- The method of Changing My Appearance once I'm in the top right corner of camp then Launching Trader
2- I also tried the 800 MTU method
3- Blood Money mission
All those three ways allow you to be alone in a session, but no matter the console , the account, or the way I get by myself in a session, closing the app or disconnecting from the internet always sets off the 3-day cooldown after you get a treasure map. So if someone is able to get multiple treasure maps (more than 2) without triggering the 3-day cooldown in the month of June 2024 or after, please let me know how.

I do something stupid when i collect the map i didnt close the game and go to the camp instead and after that i cant take any map again
Does it still work because every time I go to my camp it spawns somewhere else
I had a cooldown.. this video fixed it… can’t say which method worked because I done all three at the same time 😂 ….
*Also, someone said the map won’t spawn if there is a bounty nearby, that is TRUE!!
I spoke too soon, it’s spawned a map once and when I dc’d and reloaded there was no map again 😢
Ok.. sometimes you have to run away and come back to the tree… I run across the train track bridge it’s usually far enough
Hey guys i have a problem with the hartland treasure map glitch [PS5] i have done the mtu to 800 i am getting map in my main account everytime. But in my secondary account i get like two maps and after that there is nothing i am doing it again and again but still nothing. Can anyone help please any help will be appreciated 🙏 .
