You probably dont care at all but does anybody know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my login password. I love any help you can give me
@Caiden Roberto Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
In terms of tonality, fidelity and technicalities, IEMs are already very competitive against full size headphones. In fact, they are already surpassing them at a great pace.
i have been building iem for pretty long time and about planar drivers(if Abyss goes with planar), please control the back air movement and dont do like Audeze, complete open, as the pinnae gain in iem is important and planar drivers(when too small) likes to be closed or controlled restrictive in air flow, to produce bass and pinnae region(which ear canal doesnt produce and is important for natural sound reproduction). totally open back and all the pinna is gone, driver become flat from bass to 1kHz and then roll off, like conventional open air earbuds which used to come with sony walkman or apple vintage earbuds i have been tinkering with planars for quite a while in iem space and they need proper CFD analysis and how air volume works in front and back. Also Keep making those nice videos as always And we need a refrigerator review
My daily driver is always IEM, I'm very excited what you can do. I heard Diana Phi at a shop once and I have been saving up for it since then. I'd love to have IEM with that sound signature.
An abyss iem will be incredible. Then I will have an alternative to my current on the go solution the noble Khan. Still not as good as my 1266TC but it gets the jobs done on the go.
In term of pure sound quality, yes, hard to compete with IEMs at the same price. But past a certain price point, top tier headphones will match that quality, while having some physical advantages that IEMs don't have. Same can be said about Headphones vs Speakers.
i would love to see what you guys think of in-ear-headphones like stax sr003 or audeze isine. seems like the natural step towards a more mobile headphone.
I got the ier z1r. And wow its amazing and I can hide it at work. Very portable and transportable high end quality headphone. I'll check the abyss iem. Hopefully you try to keep it below 2500 dollars. Please try lol. Canjam Singapore maybe ?, too many iems get announced or showcased during that event.
If they think that IEMs can't compete with full size headphones they've apparently not listened to truly high end sets. Give these guys a set of even just Monarch MKII and their minds would be blown. The advancements in IEMs over the last couple years is truly insane. Heck hand them a set of 7hz Timeless and throw on pretty much any genre and watch their minds be blown for $219 US...
Depends. IEMs have much better price / performance ratio but diminishing returns also hit much faster, because most of the advancements in IEMs are in the sub $500 price range. Crinacle has said that you can get 80-90% of the IER Z1R's performance for half the price. With headphones, the difference between $500 and $1000 is much bigger.
Correct - these guys just waste time waffling about nothing, like a politician. Why don't they just use their ears to actually do a comparison & give a proper discussion.. because they don't want to admit IEMs can actually sound ... BETTER!
Iems not only rival headphones but some contenders out there beat the majority of headphones under 2K, QDC anole vx or the Sony ierz1r on a strong system such as a gold touch lotoo annihilates everything under 2KLOL We are already there, the challenges come from staging and actual size of instruments, in those two areas they’re getting incredibly good, there is still no competition Detail, timbre, resolution, speed, transparency, micro detail, these they have already mastered and beaten a lot of headphones
Monarch MKI and MKII, also BA only Anole's bass cannot beat ES/DD.... Now we evan have the 7Hz timeless showing Planars can start to get good, if Audeze learns to tune their shit they can take the market
i just bought IEM today ...but IEM are very uncomfortable for people which have small ears .....i have tried MOONDROP CHU with smallest springtips but still they fall out from ears and cause pain
Hey i also have bullets Z how are they comparable with DT 770 80ohm in terms of sound signature like what can i expect from them clean bass/soundstage better imaging? I am currently using HyperX cloud alpha with Brainwavz leather pads as my over the head.
There is definitely room for high-end planar IEM. I heard the LCD-i4 a couple of years ago which totally crushed all the balanced armatures iems I've heard. I have some Stax SR-003 at home which are pretty unique too. I'm sure you guys will come up with something interesting. Making it fully closed and portable would be great.
The apple pro isolation and noise cancelling is not ace for office (open plan) working.. but they switch between devices which is so convenient between phones (work and home) for me ANC is ideal if it’s not really isolating. My Campfire ARA are good but not convenient for on off as the air pods. I even have beats ambush and the bass is excellent and no leads being Bluetooth but uncomfortable for all day use. I think the Campfire Solaris 2020 would be worth you checking over particularly if you’re looking at printed ceramic
@willy vlyminck I don’t know if you follow the current market but there plenty of Chinese companies these days that are on par with the western companies for build and sound quality. Not bashing anyone
Personally I thing that the magic of iems comes, for example, when you're just walking in a big commercial center, just buying and looking for your things and stuff. While all that happens, you're indeed being surrounded by people and by a lot of noise. Take for example a Campfire Andromeda, put them in your ears, people voices, steps, movements get all blocked away... And you're left in this small but still roomy space of music just _happening_ around you. The impressive feat that iems reach is what they bring in terms of quality despite their smallness and incredible ease of use.
IEMs COULD compete with headphones if they were to move away from designing them like hearing aids. In home audio the room (space sound is reproduced in) is EASILY most of what makes or breaks a system. IEMs are no different. But virtually no company (with a couple exceptions, Sony’s IER-Z1R being a stand out) even considers that. Most IEMs have no equivalent of a room; the sound waves are being reproduced directly inside the ear canal. No IEM ever should have been sold for $1,000 using sound tubes. They are great for making good relatively cheap IEMs but,… Earphone designers need to start taking into account the principles/science of home audio reproduction, or at least realize they apply. When you take the time to research audio reproduction in rooms and how (most) IEMs over $500 are designed,… one can’t help but wonder.
For me iem are great. Problem the fit for me. Gym fit are hard. The pipe is never long enough for me. I have a few that fits. The slim 1 or 2 drivers. Anything with a big shell does not fit . And then I got the problem with volume
It would be interesting if something could take on monarch mk2/u12t in a way a timeless simply can’t, maybe topple imo would be cool to have planar be best iem endgame.
I feel like I just listened to the Walmart-version of Andy Sandberg and his dad and brother talk as laymen about IEM’s and provide no value or worthwhile answer to the question.
I think it is the other way around. Can headphones compete with a good IEM?
You probably dont care at all but does anybody know a method to log back into an Instagram account..?

@Caiden Roberto It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!

@Reyansh Kingston you are welcome :)
In terms of tonality, fidelity and technicalities, IEMs are already very competitive against full size headphones. In fact, they are already surpassing them at a great pace.
“Full sized headphones” doesn’t mean “good”. Balanced armature IEM’s are way beyond the quality of a massive 40mm single dynamic driver.
i have been building iem for pretty long time and about planar drivers(if Abyss goes with planar), please control the back air movement and dont do like Audeze, complete open, as the pinnae gain in iem is important and planar drivers(when too small) likes to be closed or controlled restrictive in air flow, to produce bass and pinnae region(which ear canal doesnt produce and is important for natural sound reproduction).

if you achieve what you're shooting for ( isolation , fidelity , soundstage ) - take my money
Comfort. IEM’S Hurt my ears after 2 minutes. I’d rather look “uncool’ on stage with a decent pair of headphones!
BART in SF is an extremely noisy train. You can test there if needed.

This showed up. You should probably try 7hz timless. Best planar iem out there at only 200.
If you guys stayed on topic. Especially the guy on the right. Then this would have been a good video. You guys have potential man
9 months later and no new iem news :(
It will be 10 grand iem
bout to be a year and still no news.😭
I like iem’s because I can get good audio for less.
You should make an open back iem that sounds good.
Mar 13, 2020 ... Did Abyss give up on producing IEMs?
Nope! Here's an update video: th-cam.com/video/ntaw8lPhN7M/w-d-xo.html
Iems are better sounding then headphones I own many up to over 2000.00$ pair
they said Sony's so they had a listen to the Z1R for reference. that's a nice place to start indeed.
z1r are god tier indeed, best bass responce ive ever heard on anything and that trblee!! sweet as fck! not the most detailed but the best tunning imo
120 db is absurd inside a train lol

Advancements in IEMs are all in the low budget market. Stuff just keeps getting better and cheaper. But at the top, there's hardly any big movement.

So what are your verdict now about iems? There many options on the market

so the Z1R is better than something like the Focal Clear ?
Take a shot for every time they say yeah
Sign me up. I’m buying it no matter what you actually produce. ^^
I really wonder what your ideas look like on paper at this stage. Any chance a Buffalonian like me could come by and get a sneak peak?
Hi ABYSS! I know its been two years since this video was published. Are you guys still planning on releasing an IEM anytime soon?
i just bought IEM today ...but IEM are very uncomfortable for people which have small ears .....i have tried MOONDROP CHU with smallest springtips but still they fall out from ears and cause pain
Have you guys considered offering cIEM version of your planar IEM?
I have DT770 Pro 80 Ohms and One Plus Bullets Z and guess what... For my taste those little guys sounds freaking amazing. Way more bass, good clarity.
Hey i also have bullets Z how are they comparable with DT 770 80ohm in terms of sound signature like what can i expect from them clean bass/soundstage better imaging? I am currently using HyperX cloud alpha with Brainwavz leather pads as my over the head.

Nothing yet
When you say crushed, what do you mean?
@@AceDeclan they were better in terms of resolution, dynamics and tonality. Just much more realistic.
What's your current most portable option?
Abyss IEM`s? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY !!!!!!!!
Love To See,What You Guys bring To The Table In Form Of IEM.🤞

I have Campfire Solstice and it is super comfy
Hope they will be home made, not like some bringing on the brandname on a Chinese made product.
We wouldn’t have it any other way
@willy vlyminck I don’t know if you follow the current market but there plenty of Chinese companies these days that are on par with the western companies for build and sound quality. Not bashing anyone
@@LuboAck I don’t doubt that but for me the social component is as important as well.
@@willyvlyminck201 just genuinely curious. Do you avoid any product made in China? Is it practical?
I’ll be waiting. Lol. Bring it on.
This would be freaking awesome 🤩
Another issue will be at which price it can be realized.
Budget headphones or iem would be great

Abyss IEMs sound like a great idea. If it can have similar qualities to a Phi or 1266 that would be crazy.
os caras da direita e da esquerda tem o carisma de uma porta 😍
IEM market is too competitive for Abyss in my opinion.
For me iem are great. Problem the fit for me. Gym fit are hard. The pipe is never long enough for me. I have a few that fits. The slim 1 or 2 drivers. Anything with a big shell does not fit . And then I got the problem with volume

so this never came to fruition i guess ?
