I just wish people would listen when they are warned about someone. Being in a relationship with someone tends to blind you and people looking from the outside can see it whereas the person in the midst of it cannot. But time and time again people ignore and refuse to listen to what they are being warned about.

When i felt like uts safe to date because now the kids are older and my ex seems like mentally stable now, i began to date but we agreed to keep it low-key. My suggestion for all in dv victims, try to stay low key when dating someone after the divorce especially if you have kids.

We need to normalise getting background checks before having anyone we don’t know around our children.
