Do you need to be logged into itunes for this to work? Like with the same account that's logged into the phone?

Download restore pops up on computer but the connection to laptop doesn’t show up on the phone like in the vid.. and phone doesn’t reset to factory settings after done the full process..?

It keeps trying to send a verification code to the phone and not letting me reset without it. iTunes isn't working for me. It keeps sending an error code.
Can somebody try this if the phone find me is on?

My iPhone 12 max it only flash the apple logo and then it doesn't do anything else 😤 i need advice i forgot my password and now my phone is disabled
press up button and release, then press down button and release, then press & hold power button until logo disappear. Hold power button & down button until entering DFU mode
