AMEN! Sandy is one of the best old time convention players I have ever heard, and I've been listening to southern gospel for nearly 60 years. I could listen to her for hours. You summed it up very well. I miss this kind of playing.
After watching this Video, Ireally miss church.Haven't been in 15yrs.I grew up in Pentecostal Church.My Dad was the Pastor and my Mom played Piano.Sadly and I know better I turned away from the Lord when hard times finally got me.Please Pray for me.I certainly need it!
My, my, my....What a time we're gonna have in Heaven singing that old redemption story to the angles..... I sit here with tears dripping from my face and the Holy Spirit is just all over the place...especially on me! You folks will never know how much you've blessed me. The lady next to the piano wearing the darker burgundy is a wonderful blessing to watch as she throws her head back and sings out with such a smile on her face. SHE KNOWS WHAT & WHERE SHE'S SINGING ABOUT...that's FOR SURE!.
Don you will be in my prayers. Your story has happened to so many minister's children but God never gives up on you. Your statement makes the Red back Hymnal effort all the more worthwhile. God bless you deeply.
A very nice and one of my favourite hymns. I am very much blessed through this hymn. But the sad part is, not many young people today sing hymns. From this video we can see most are elderly.
