There is a lot of damage caused by our African brothers to our youth. The youth is the hope of Africa. the whole nation mourns. black and white. we have never enjoyed our freedom because of drugs.
Any nationality can be capable of selling that, remember we have all kind of races and nationalities in South Africa so don't pick☝️because it doesn't help the situation and it protects the ones actually doing it which we wouldn't know if we assumed it's only done by certain nationality🤷♀️
This is so sad,A students, professional people all lost to drugs😭😭💔💔 everything started with dagga, I wish communities could stop glorifying dagga and idolising it as a herb... this is a problem in many towns in South Africa.
These are the people who should be in the workforce, living productive lives and making strides for themselves. At the moment they are literally digging graves for themselves.

Thando actually bought the food. Not the cutting edge crew. I was the one who brought the food but it was edited out on my request. Because I wanted to do my segment at my house with the nice background. 15:00
Cutting Edge isn't telling you that they've bought these guys drugs before the shoot in order for them to get content. Some script was given to them when recording. I honestly expected Cutting Edge to give the raw story directly from the guys experiences.
Ur right about the buying drugs for content. Ur wrong about the script. Actually the sabc did us a favor. We called them to shoot us nit the other way round.
I was there when it all happened. I can even pin point everyone who agreed and refused to be on camera plus the guy who sold you the drugs. I was standing right next to y all but you wouldn't recognize me, I just blend lowkey
We ourselves did something actually. The sabc did enough by broadcasting us and coming all the way from jozi for us. We called them. After the airing we called the district. Guys are in rehab. It was the whole plan from the start. It was not an event. It was our starting point.
The richest place on earth used to be the cemetery, the richest place on earth now is in the heads of all drug addicts and this reality is very saddening.
If you want to take over a city/country you don't target the old men, women and children. The target is the young men who can defend thier country and once you wipe them out with drugs you can just walk in and takeover without lifting a weapon. He said it, there's a bigger plan on motion here and we need to guard our closest ones from addictions
Thank u. That's what I said. And I meant that. We need to protect ama2000. Now it's crystal meth taking over. Kids are talking to themselves it's scary.
Maybe more tight security at schools and put more sports activities, extra murals so that it takes up most of their time alone and when they go home they must get more assignments/ homework e.t.c and government can bring penalty to each saying if you ever quit school without finishing we're coming for you and you'll join any government services training as your punishment can be - zoo, gardening, police, army, clinics and hospitals, waste pickup , sewage, transport e.t.c . Thank u. It was not slept no by the Nkangala District. After the airing we got so much attention so much that the guys are gone to rehab. 3 at a time. Thanks to our government.
Why is the government doing nothing about this pandemic and why people who are distributors not apprehended like robbers, this must stop these are our future, something or someone knows a lot about this drugs in the cabinet
Ur makimg me smile. We also have 'mother' here. She buys food and everything for the guys. Well I was once of the guys. I still call her mother. Funny thing is me and her are the same age. Her name is phindi. 🙏
This is a pandemic and the sooner our government realizes this the better for all. The trauma of having a drug addict in the family cannot be compared to anything. They still almost everything and as much as you try to be sympathetic, you are also emotionally and financially drained. This is our future but I bet our government prefer them like this because they want to be in parliament until they collapse and die there instead of empowering our youth, getting them rehabilitated and create jobs for them. Most CBDs are infested with these kids and maybe they should move to malls so our government can intervene.
Sandile didn't have time. It was due for submission in 4 days. Edited in a few hours. We shot this in one day. Zinhle said that that has never done before.
When I watched this video I was not worried about parents teaching their kids to stay out of drugs as they don't have control. My worry is that these drug distributors are Nigerians, government (Ramaphosa and Malema) protects them at all costs. Why can't they be sent to their country as they don't have papers, and also the law which always get prisoners on parole is insane. I truly lost hope to our black officials such as Ramaphosa, Malema, Bheki Cele and etc. Although I never wanted DA to lead, it seems like we need them as black people don't care at all. It's now evidence that any development of a country needs a white skin and gold hair. How come the government ignore Hillbrow, Sunnyside, and etc. When we stand up they say how dare us hating our own brothers😭😭
They could be buying from anyone no specific nationality we're diverse in RSA. Hillbrow and Sunnyside is just an example check in 5 to 10 years coming we will have more if nothing is being done😢. I was wondering if us as parents were doing something wrong in raising our kids because in this video, few kept saying i learned from my friend or i was introduced to this by my friend 😢so why not say NO!, was it peer pressure or being bullied into doing it? I just wonder💔
It's sad 😔, but some are of this occurrences are self inflicted. Sometimes we chose not to take advice and warnings ⚠. Dagga seems to be a starting point for many, from there a doorway to other drugs opens wide. Another common factor is friends/chomi, that's a very dangerous and unnecessary animal in 1s life at times
Government should have maybe sold it to a private sector before ruining it🤷♀️just like SA Airways following would be Eskom then SABC 💔🤷♀️😏🤥im just frustrated blurbing 😢🤐
Im a zulu south african teenager and l feel everyone is talking about amadrugs like dagga, heroin and meth etc..but no one talks about ALCOHOL which is the true and normalized drug in our country

U were right. He's gone.
Starts off a a choice but later it no longer becomes a choice 💔
Well said. That's deep. How did u know.
I am a medical student, so I see them. They are helpless.
You should show these people Philadelphia drug addicts. At least they are still able to stand.
Fentanyl (disguised as Percocet) is fueling the opioid crisis in that region, I hope it never reaches this country. Low-grade heroin is destroying our country now imagine what a drug 50 times stronger than heroin would do
I know them Kingston Avenue
Those guys are like Zombies Demons
Drug Binge Part 2 will air on SABC 1 at 21H30 tonight (14 March 2023).
Hello zinhle dlamini mugabe. How is sandile? I wanted to say something to u after the airing but I was reluctant because I don't know how involved u want to be. I respect that this is ur job. Do u remember me?
May I ask where did you get your 🕶️frames??...share the details
There is a lot of damage caused by our African brothers to our youth. The youth is the hope of Africa. the whole nation mourns. black and white. we have never enjoyed our freedom because of drugs.
You point Africans all other fingers pointing at you 👈🏾
Any nationality can be capable of selling that, remember we have all kind of races and nationalities in South Africa so don't pick☝️because it doesn't help the situation and it protects the ones actually doing it which we wouldn't know if we assumed it's only done by certain nationality🤷♀️
No Amos. Joyce is right. It IS our african brothers vele. Factsssssss.
This is so sad,A students, professional people all lost to drugs😭😭💔💔 everything started with dagga, I wish communities could stop glorifying dagga and idolising it as a herb... this is a problem in many towns in South Africa.
That's me. The A+ student.
This is a pandemic in our society, young man full of potential end up on the street or jail
These are the people who should be in the workforce, living productive lives and making strides for themselves. At the moment they are literally digging graves for themselves.
This is the actual pandemic!
Same way we have all these programs for the girl child we should also do the same for boys
This kills me. As the gentleman says at the end, parents talk to your kids about drugs.
Facts. That was me. Thanks for the 'gentleman'. That was a bar! 🔥 🔥 🔥
I think if a parent actually sits you down it can prevent alot.
Its more effective than any Awareness Campaign
Just like he said, there's hope for him.change can be a very difficult thing to do.😢
That boy culo is not serious. Speaks well but is not serious
If u could see what he's doing.
@@SibusisoHlophe-dp5lq Culo has a beautiful name , his mother gave him a beautiful name.

He died.
Am I the only one who couldn't get past 5 minutes of this programme? This thing is too painful to watch. We lost our childhood friends to this whoonga thing. Late 2007 is when I got to know there's something like this, and ever since then Durban has never been the same.
I need more of these
We all know no ‘friend brought them food’ happened. You bought them that food 😂😂😂
lol
Thando actually bought the food. Not the cutting edge crew. I was the one who brought the food but it was edited out on my request. Because I wanted to do my segment at my house with the nice background. 15:00
Cutting Edge isn't telling you that they've bought these guys drugs before the shoot in order for them to get content. Some script was given to them when recording. I honestly expected Cutting Edge to give the raw story directly from the guys experiences.
Ur right about the buying drugs for content. Ur wrong about the script. Actually the sabc did us a favor. We called them to shoot us nit the other way round.
Where are u from? U may know me.
I was there when it all happened. I can even pin point everyone who agreed and refused to be on camera plus the guy who sold you the drugs. I was standing right next to y all but you wouldn't recognize me, I just blend lowkey
Wow
So sad. I hope SABC is gona do something after that interview. Let's fight against this drugs ish 😒😢😢
We ourselves did something actually. The sabc did enough by broadcasting us and coming all the way from jozi for us. We called them. After the airing we called the district. Guys are in rehab. It was the whole plan from the start. It was not an event. It was our starting point.
Unfortunately the guy (Oupa Mabena) recently passed on, I to think I grew up right in front of him
The richest place on earth used to be the cemetery, the richest place on earth now is in the heads of all drug addicts and this reality is very saddening.
How clever can a person be. Wow. Amagugu. I was thinking that same thing but u put it in words. This is crazy.
this is painful even for me to watch this old man, going through this drug addict
His 42😢 his not an old man. Drugs aged by 20+ years
@@curvykay6232 I also thought he was old. But 42 is not old At all. But he too sick.
Pupa is on his last legs. I feel so sorry for him. Only 42.
Do you think there are any solutions to this pandemic
though
To be honest he looks like he might have HIV and they sharing needles with him
Maybe more tight security at schools and put more sports activities, extra murals so that it takes up most of their time alone and when they go home they must get more assignments/ homework e.t.c and government can bring penalty to each saying if you ever quit school without finishing we're coming for you and you'll join any government services training as your punishment can be - zoo, gardening, police, army, clinics and hospitals, waste pickup , sewage, transport e.t.c . I know that's crazy thinking 🙄🤷♀️
He has died
Yes, I agree. South Africans must wake up and choose leaders who are protecting our nation and not allowing our people to be wiped out by foreign drug dealers
That's so sad 💔💔💔
Nyaope is a South African drug foreigners found it here ,it's manufacturered in South Africa by south Africans
@@peacekwenda8299 mxm, did you ever admit to any evil that you spread in this country, the filth that the useless ANC allowed you to bring with? All you do is denial and covering up for each other

That’s why we need the government to learn from xolani from the moja love show. Drug dealers must decrease nyana this is too much.
but ke the youth was killed by ANC, I am 34 today but since I was a kid I was told I am the future president/leader but we still have the very same people in parliament that were there 34 years ago. so this saying of " intsha abahholi baksasa" its just dream they have been trying to sell to the youth for so long.
Wasn't that meant that youth would study towards that and practice it until they take over? Like don't we have young generation in parliament?
Since ANC ruled ours and Country life has become this way, Drugs have become a norm .
You are right. Since democracy.
Yoooh this is heartbreaking

devils drug..recovering addict for 14 years now..there's hope👊
Why is the government doing nothing about this pandemic and why people who are distributors not apprehended like robbers, this must stop these are our future, something or someone knows a lot about this drugs in the cabinet
This is heartbreaking 💔
In my area I'm make it sure I give them food sometimes clothes....I they called me mother I real love nyaope guys like my brothers

I feel very bad they must deal with the sellers to totally finish this
Problem is the sellers just give a 'cold drink' to the cops. There is no hope. It's true. There is no solution. Trust me I know.

Very true, its so deadly.
Even gambling with numbers.

Very sad ,i hope by you filming them ,you can also find them the help they need😢
Subtitles throughout would have been lovely, especially when the sick man was talking. Nevertheless, great content
For your information it's not Nigerians but Tanzanians
The terrible pandemic is self-hate and inferiority than any drug.

People must stop taking everything to their mouth , your life must have boundaries
That is true.. weed is usually the gateway drug
This very heart breaking, addiction is a serious disease...while in that topic look at that deserted Post Office, our government makes me vomit.
