- Madonna takes to the stage this weekend as she kicks off her Celebration World Tour in London. The road to get here hasn't been easy, she was hospitalised in June with a serious bacterial infection which meant spending time in the intensive care unit. The queen of pop who turned 65 in August is about to embark on a gruelling 78 shows to celebrate the 40th anniversary of her debut album, Madonna.
One man who knows what it's like to be on stage with her - is friend and former dancer Carlton Wilborn, he joins us from Los Angeles to reveal who the real Madonna is.

Carlton is one of my favourite "Madonna-dancers". His talent brought greatness to the stage. So powerful and expressive. I'd love to see them together on stage again :)
I really believe that Madonna is a kind and warm-hearted person who cares about the people she really cares about. Many people from the outside think she may seem cold and arrogant, but I can understand why she acts that way sometimes, because she's been through the whole music business and learned to have a thick skin when it comes to the media circus, because you simply need that. I think that was the difference between her and Michael Jackson. Michael was a great businessman, but relatively naive as a person, and look at how the media treated him. I think he was always afraid to say "no" to anyone, and as commendable as it is to be polite and courteous as a human being, in the media you can't always expect sympathy and you have to take clear position.
You can be tough and not look like a spoiled brat. Great examples: elizabeth taylor and cher

Handsome and elegant man. I loved him with Madonna. I also love to see loyalty between friends, that is very refreshing.
Every dancer has an opportunity to shine in every Madonna tour, the evidence is out there

He’s very dapper. Nice to see the loyalty after so man years. Interesting what he said about the Press. They’re always attacking her out of envy and anger that she doesn’t play their game. She addressed it in How High “it’s funny, whenever anybody mentions my name they’re never very nice”. To have survived so long after such unrelenting negativity is seemingly impossible, no man would have survived that never mind woman.

People think Madonna is some kind of monster. Carlton kind of alludes to it, but when three of the dancers from the Blond Ambition tour sued her, it really affected her 🤷♂️
Why did they sue her?
@@misselder9619 It's complicated. They've talked about it in articles and videos. It was a combination of a contract dispute (they said they didn't get paid what they were supposed to) and invasion of privacy (because they didn't know a movie was going to be made and they had no control over how they were portrayed). I think there's more to the story than either side would admit though, and I think Madonna handled the entire situation poorly.
BTW, a big part of it involved the famous kiss between two of the male dancers. One of them wasn't "out" and the movie basically "outed" him. He was allegedly told that they would edit out anything he didn't want in the movie, but then they refused to do it. Madonna supposedly told him to "get over it". I honestly find this story 100% believe because she did the same thing to her brother around the same time - when she did an interview in a gay magazine she explicitly said he was gay and talked about it in detail despite the fact that even members of his immediate family didn't know. (And reading it, it's very obvious it was premeditated and deliberate.) These are just a few of many examples of her appearing to use people as tools for her own purposes with no regard for how it will affect them.
Don't believe anything that you read. It's all BS.

Friends went to the show said there were entire areas of nearly empty rows, despite the website claiming it was sold out. And despite the room few people danced. They didnt mind paying for a lip synced playback autotune show, so they enjoyed their time

For all the difficult dancing and all the insanely fast foot work, it was Nathan Hamilton on her blonde ambition tour a Rothschild has confirmed to me in a conversation you’re married to him while you’re now divorced I can’t believe he can’t save it to your face. It’s widely known in the entertainment industry. She has a 14 year old boy, Nathan Hamilton for all those close-up shots. That’s why the tours ever been put out on a DVD because it’s so obvious that it’s a boy and a teenager no 30 year old woman would’ve had that energy and they shot them him up on amphetamine too Denise, one of her impersonators actually said that she took her teenage boy out on the road with her and when he didn’t wanna do it, she tried to strangle him!

This tour might not even finish with the current war in Israel. The chaos might carry over to Europe. Carlton was loved by M, to do two tours.
