  • Welcome to Hairupideas channel. In this video we can see the results using Wella Koleston Perfect Me permanent hair colour 66/0 + 6/7 to cover white/grey hair #wellalife
    After a full consultation with the client we assess the hair distribution and % of white hair compared to natural hair colour.This communication with the client makes it easier to decide on product and application technique. It also ensures that the clients expectations can be achieved and we obtain the required result on this lockdown 4 month hair regrowth application.
    We hope we will make the process of applying root colour easier and break down the technique we used for this particular client.
    The result from this colour service was grey/white hair blended into existing colour seamlessly. #haircolourtutorial
    Formula - 25g 6/7 + 15g 66/0 add 50g welloxon 6% developer. Development time 45 minutes #wellaeducation

    Love your video probably the most helpful video i have come across on TH-cam. Love how you show step by step. I just wanted your help my natural hair colour is dark brown, current hair colour is auburn lots of brassiness. I have grey hair at Roots. I really like ash brown mush brown colour. What koleston shade can I use to achieve this without bleaching hair. Thank you ❤️❤️

      It’s permanent colour. So depending on how fast your hair grows and your % of grey, you will need to redo roots around every 4 -6 weeks

    Thanks for the video :) Do you know if it is still ok to use the intensive shades like 66/0 when not covering gray hair. I have a 55/0 Koleston perfect but don't need gray coverage. Not sure if I should use it or not.

      The double ranges are specifically for grey/white hair. Well resistant white. What’s your starting point ? Are you darkening naturally light hair ?

      @@avonleagirl2925 Yes it will be more intense and I would say it may appear darker. You could always jiggle you existing colour. Extra development or possible using a colour touch on mid lengths and ends for a refresh. Good luck with your formula xx

    Hi , I have natural dark brown hair I used 6/73 the last time and I’m finding it too dark. Would you recommend 66/0 all over to lighten it a bit more . If not this what other number can you recommend please. I do have grey hair too 🙈 thanks in advance

    • @hairupideas
      @hairupideas  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      66/0 will not lighten the hair. 66/0 or any xx/0x range is for more resistant greys. hips need a lighter shade if you finding 6/73 too dark. If you want to lighter then mix your original colour 6/73 with 7/73 and slowly adjust the proportions of colour on each root service to eventually you are just using 7/73. That’s if you like the shades your choice gives you. This way you won’t get a hot root or a demarcation line. It should seamlessly blend. Let me know your thoughts

    What percentage developer shall I use with 6/07 to go from a brunette with a full head of blonde highlights to just brunette?

    • @hairupideas
      @hairupideas  ปีที่แล้ว

      Without seeing your hair and holding it in my hands I couldn’t say what percentage. My thoughts are you will need a couple of applications of colour. A fill in colour first to add tone and warmth back into the hair and then another application to add the depth of brunette shade you require. What’s your thoughts on the process ?

    Wella confuses me cos I read different rules! I’m using 66/0 with 6/3 and I read you shouldn’t mix the intense range with other colour because it “dilutes” the base colour therefore won’t cover the grey completely. Then a guy in the Wella video on TH-cam said the /00 is only for cool colours which is a lie. What is your opinion. I have 100% grey, is it correct to use 1/2 of 66/0 with 1/2 of 6/3, or should I choose a cool colour like that guy said in the video. I want warmth! Also, is it true the /00 is too flat /Matt if used alone?

    • @hairupideas
      @hairupideas  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You may be reading old literature on Koleston Perfect. They changed the education on it over the last few years. /00 in my opinion is used for resistant hair white hair and it’s advised to add another colour to it for dimension and tone. Have a look at video below for info. As for ratio always starting with equal parts is a great starting point then you can alter either way depending on desired effect as in if you want a more golden look.

I take care not to over lap the colour and never take through to ends. I would use colour touch to refresh the ends. Hot roots are not a good look.
