This is one of the coolest liveries I've seen in a while
I like the tribute livery to the achievements in the Triple Crown of Motorsport.
Fun fact: 2013 Indianapolis 500 winner, Tony Kanaan will run a special black and orange livery before he retires after the Indianapolis 500.

I like it way way waaaayyy better than their normal livery. If they’re not gonna be all papaya than I rather see this. I like the clean look and not all the busy frills.

Yeah, I'm sure the graphic designers could definitely make the car faster with their lack of knowledge of aerodynamics and mechanical engineering.

@@MrSymon68 Yeah, but you have to understand McLaren is not going to stop doing their marketing and celebrating their anniversaries because they are uncompetitive now. One priority doesn't mean they have to stop everything else.

Long term they should do a papaya scheme based on the 1984 livery. Not using marlboro red sidesteps the cigarette advertising, it's just a cool livery layout. And using the papaya will bring the whole history thing together.

The orange they used should go over the rest of the car for the normal livery, no black or blue.

Quite a few had white in recent years, Haas, Alpha Tauri, Alfa Romeo, Williams...
That was the trend the past few years, right now it's exposed carbon
Even the Red Bull and Mercedes tried a one-off all white livery. It comes and goes unfortunately
McLaren spend more time on livery and destroying top drivers (Alonso, Sainz, Ricciardo and Norris) than they do on delivering a quality car that can compete at the top of the field🤣🤣

Well, nothing will excite us unless we start seeing respectful results, especially after what we've seen from the team this season so far.
It's okay... But it's not eye catching or special looking enough. Which is odd considering one off livery's are supposed to add be eye catching, they're supposed to add a WOW factor...
If they swapped some of their normal livery's papaya to white, kept the black and then added papaya highlights that would look infinitely better than this.
This livery looks like a new team joined and either didn't have enough money to make a decent wrap for their car, or they spent money on everything else first and their livery was an afterthought.
Nothing will top their actual attention demanding gulf livery.

Looks like a crappy MyTeam livery from the f1 games. Also backwards facing arrows is a hilarious design motif for a race car, and very appropriate for McLaren.

They need to keep the white with the papaya but add the papaya at the front too (like the old marlboro design and the indy 500 racer. Yes its not red, but...).
