This music encapsulates the pain of unrequited love. Wonderful. But the tempo is too fast!

Interesting to compare with th-cam.com/video/LmxSxWVNsgI/w-d-xo.html. This is same orchestra and horn player. Early Covid, which does make it very special too.

Not bad but Karajan had so much more panache in this movement - the difference between a very good conductor and a great one

Karajan used a slower tempo, which made the movement all the more intense and emotional.
