What you said about working class people not having the luxury of pursuing the creative path is so true. I’m working class and as a child I naturally gravitated towards creative things, but I remember my mum saying to me that I should do creative things as a hobby, but for a job I should choose something more secure because the creative industry is volatile. I know my mum was well meaning because she didn’t want me to struggle with money by choosing an unstable career, but I feel like growing up around this mindset led me down a path that wasn’t right for me.
We all have an inner child, but we often neglect it, thinking we need to act our age. Embracing that inner child is the key to enjoying life, staying curious, exploring new things, and trying things to see how they make us feel or trying things to see if we're gonna like them or not, it's like having a sense of adventure. 😇 Thank you so much for your videos, I always look forward to them. 🤍🤍
I think we’ve forgotten to prioritise enjoyment. Spending time with friends, family, doing activities that bring us joy , coming together to celebrate one another is important
I so resonated with this. I am 52 and I don’t look it or feel it but I have been feeling a lot of boredom. I realized why when I watched this video. I haven’t played some of my favorite childhood games lately. I have a table top ms Pac-Man and I bought some jacks and I haven’t colored in my coloring books lately. I think I need these typest of stimulations just to keep going in this world
I’m 49 turning 50 in 5 months, and I feel the boredom as well. My creativity is screaming inside, it’s all I can think about. This definitely resonates with me as well. 😊
I am going to start my social media page that I always thought of but didn't and a blog too. I am at that place were I just feel frustratingly dissatisfied, and I have realised I am not creating and expressing my passions more, and I will. For me, this is confirmation!
