In the og toon Tattoo was a gerbil that for some reason became the sumo. He had a small appearance in the beginning of the planet of the turtleoids. Love they did Wyrm cause that means they are doing what ifs for characters that didn’t show in the toon. Definitely want more of that! And hope they keep doing Archie stuff cause want an armaggon, Verminator x & Nocturno the owl! Great leatherheads too(one of my favorites as well)

But the other part of me hopes not because there's already so much stuff on display there that I want & Tatsu & Mirage Rat King are hitting any time now lol.
Mirage April is perfect. Tattoo, Oroku Saki head and Casey Jr are coming. So happy already. And there's lots of space for reveals (we know Tatsu and Rat King are missing so there's deffo gonna be more, woo!). If you ask me Neca aren't pushing Archie enough! Anyway, your one-stop-shop for things Hatter doesn't know: Underpants Triceratons are the Triceatron All-Stars gladiators from TMNT 6, they're what Traximus was based on, we knew they were coming because they were on the back of some of the boxes Hunter Leo and Bandana Don are from TMNT 11, the one narrated by April that was adapted in the movie Old Man Raph appeared a few times, I first met him in a reprint of the Michelangelo special Super Turtle is from the frontspiece of Tales of the TMNT 5, the Domeoids come from TMNT 15 where they were the minions of Dr Dome, very excited about these 1) becasue the Domeoids are adorable and 2) because this all but confirms Dr Dome and the Justice Force from this issue. Super Turtle also means things bode well for Renet and Complete Carnage (two figures I really want) that debuted in the same issue as him. Very pleased with these variants. The Hamster is Tattoo too, he mutated from it and back into it (yeah, I know) Wyrm didn't appear in the cartoon, this could be a new What If figure like the Don/Mikey pack but it might also be based on concept art for the unmade Mighty Mutanimals cartoon, either way it's cool to get a Wyrm to go with Scumbug - now can we have the Archie versions please? Christmas Turtles are from the We Wish You A Turtle Christmas, a terrible straight-to-video release that I love. Shredder's Throne didn't appear in the finished film I don't think, it was only in the trading cards. Neca made a mock-up for thier display and people kept asking for it - last SDCC I think - so now they're making one. Hopefuly they do that with the Stump Asteroid Wrestling Ring too cos I want that!
Hatter, seeing some of the 'figures in package was great and past prototype stage. I prefer the more menacing Slash not cartoony. The oversized snapping turtle. In my head canon the turtle bros are box or sliders and it works. Preview tour was excellent..now you get to look for the teasers and Easter eggs🤓✌️
The Shredder Throne was in a trading card I think from the movie, but not shown in the movie. Tattoo was actually in one episode of the original toon and it was a Gerbil that was mutated into Tattoo if I remember correctly.
Mirage April is my most wanted out of everything shown. Ive been waiting on that one for a long time. Other than that im excited for Casey Marie, old April and next gen turtles. Old man Raph and Hunter Leo look nice too but not really a necessity. If i see them ill probably get them but im not going looking.
Great job Hatter. The Ultimate Shredder is top of my list & then my whole collection will be complete & I can stop - however the wrestling turtles is the only comic I remember as a kid so think I'll be getting those too for nostalgia reasons. But my main wish list item from NECA this year is Officer Lewis/Nancy Allen from Robocop, so in your next NECA visit, can you be on the look out Hatter?

The booth leaned very hard into the comicverses, which feels appropriate for the venue. It all looks so good but hot dayam those Stump Wrestling figures are friggin amazing. If they sell well we're definitely getting a Cudley, and I think regular Archie Turtles are a given. Also a regular version of Leatherhead, and the rest of the Mutanimals.. Also did anyone notice all the newer stuff is PINLESS. 🤘
I’m guessing from the heads those Xmas turtles are from they musical special where Splinter sings 12 days of Christmas. Three skateboards Two comic books And a pizza with pepperoni!
Love the triceratron gladiators! Glad were getting a mirage April and red shredder, (even if its battle damaged), but please NECA, for the love of god, give us a regular mirage shredder rerelease. Cant wait for the ultimate animated shredder!
Sounds about right.kimd of the same scheme with the color variants of Renet and Casey that nobody asked for, put those out before the comic accurate colors, everyone gets FOMO not knowing is theyll ever release anything else so they buy them, then the next geek out event theyll release the ones everyone wants. Rinse and repeat.

Are the newer classic color Foot variant releases any different from the ones in that old expensive box set? If so, I'm wondering if maybe they're giving it a little more time before retreading all that territory to avoid upsetting collectors who have it since it's so pricey on the aftermarket. Or alternatively, I'm thinking they milk the battle damaged sculpt for one more release & after we all buy it, they'll announce an all-new ULTIMATE Mirage Shredder lol. Maybe you know this, but is the current Mirage Turtle buck they're using (apparently a lot going forward), is that the way the Turtles mostly appeared in the comics? I've been hoping for a reissue (or more likely, all-new sculpts) of their original Mirage Turtles. Wondering if that's just wishful thinking or if they'll pull something similar to what I hypothesized about Shredder above & after they sell us the "Lawson" Turtles in 15 different versions, they'll announce ULTIMATE Eastman Turtles.
The Shredder throne was in one of the movie trading cards. It was never in the movie though, so they are scraping the barrel with that one..Also it's €100+ shipped, definitely not worth that price, for what is essentially a chair.
If you want to be completely accurate In issue 6 the TMNT fight 4 naked triceratons in a gladiator esque arena, but since it's an army builder you can get however much you feel you need
I don't collect too much mirage turtles or Archie comics turtles. one thing. I was 5 years old in 84. Main focus was Transformers.. I started with those comics. There is a few I would like Say karai as the shredder. I try to get all versions of Shredder though. .Also no Shredder's throne was not in the movie. But you may be right about concept Idea. I know they just did for transformers studio series From the bumblebee movie. Concept Art figures. Who they had planned But never made it. They had Concept art Megatron, Sunstreaker, Rumble & Frenzy

@@LifewithDimeji There are a lot more characters they could be making from the show. The ultimate versions are great for people who didn't get Shredder and others years ago, but the line will die out if all we can expect are different Rocksteady & Bebops.

Mirage April looks amazing. Not happy about Karai. I hope this doesn't diminish the chances of getting the regular one in her biker/ninja outfit. Why are they doing battle damaged Shredder in proper colors but not a regular Shredder? We need a new regular Shredder that also has updated articulation. What's the deal with the buff Foot Elite? That's new. I'll get the new toon Shredder since I don't have one yet. While you didn't show it, I'm also excited they revealed an Ardiff Bey figure for the Universal horror monsters.
Just my theory here, but I won't be surprised in the slightest if after selling us all the battle damaged classic colors Shredder, they then reveal an ULTIMATE Mirage Shredder as an all-new sculpt. Look at what they're doing with cartoon Shredder, after all. I wouldn't worry too much about Karai given that reasoning either.

Coming from statue collecting so im a bit of a figure noob but what is going on with the mirage rat king? They show it a year ago then radio silence and now its not even at this years booth, what gives is this normal?
So we're finally getting a Mirage classic colors maroon Shredder figure... but battle damaged??? COME ON!!!! I CALL BULLSHIT. JUST GIVE US THE DAMN FIGURE ALREADY!
Most of these are a pass for me, probably April, Monday, slash, tattoo and ultimate shedder if I see them are pick ups. The wrestling are a easy pass though I would love a single release black suit raph. Idk neca really hasn't held my interest with the tmnt overall most side chars aren't must have and most turtle variants aren't exactly amazing or are simply rehashes (I'm glad those are out for those who missed them though). Jim's set was the last I was really excited, the 2 pack space Don and samurai Mikey was cool but with out raph and Leo seems incomplete (alts like that only tend to buying sets or just raph). Honestly I'm more excited about super 7s tmnt line with the 2ktmnt and the music tmnt and a few other figs (Sargent gorilla being a big one) I mean yeah they aren't new reveals but still idk hit harder for Me anyway
Wouldn't be surprised if they do a themed Leo & Raph 2pack. I don't collect the cartoon line so I don't have a dog in this race, but I'd be surprised if they didn't do that eventually. Sounds like there's more to be revealed, this is just preview night. I'm looking forward to Mirage Rat King!
@ioncewasmikey wouldn't surprise me if they do either, can't say I have a dog in the race either as I don't collect one line over another i just buy the main 4 and whoever else catches my eye of different lines though. Yeah that rat king did look amazing definitely picking him up if I see him but haven't heard anything him in a month or so
@duogemstone apparently people are finding Rat King in some Targets already! I saw one listed on ebay for $90, same guy has Tatsu for $110. I will wait patiently for them haha.

To be fair, we probably should have seen them coming given that they did both versions of the actual Universal Monsters. Have you seen the b&w 2pack in person? I'm actually digging the monochromatic paint schemes, though I haven't purchased yet. And they're $5-7 cheaper per figure than the color versions if the price of that 2pack holds true for the 4pack.
@@ioncewasmikey Fair. I’m definitely not saying they look bad. And they obviously fit the “older” aesthetic. As someone who already bought the regular releases though, this isn’t something I need. Them redoing Raph/Leo as new monsters before Shredder already had me pause on the line.
@BradHocTalk I'm with you there, I've been slowly putting together a set of the color versions, but Invisible Man Donnie is hard to find for a reasonable price these days. EE has him available for preorder, expected to ship in August (though it said July a day or 2 ago lol) so that might not pan out. Totally agree on Shredder- are we assuming he'll be Dracula? This line has always been somewhat disappointing to me in that they didn't follow the character match-ups from the vintage Playmates crossover. I think Creature Leo is the only one that is a straight analog of that line, and it's one of my favorites for that reason. And it just looks awesome haha. I'm not sure if I'll go down the b&w rabbit hole but I do like the looks of them. The 4pack box looks great too.
@@ioncewasmikey Yeah Donnie was the hardest to track down for me. Stock came available on BBTS at one point a while ago when I got him. If they ever get to Shredder, he has to be Dracula since Splinter is Van Helsing. I picked up the original 7, but never got Werewolf Raph or Creature Leo. Creature Leo is so much better than Hunchback Leo, but for now I don’t need a duplicate turtle in that line.
@BradHocTalk I had my chances at him for sure, but I was just kind of slowly picking these up. After seeing some of them come way down in price, I figured I'd play the waiting game, but for whatever reason Donnie had some rarity. Oh yeah, reasoning makes sense regarding Shredder as Dracula- I was assuming they'd do a Casey & April b&w 2pack so Splinter & Shredder rounding out the repaint line would make a lot of sense too.

How many Naked Triceratons is necessary? Are they truly an army builder based on the source material?
If you want to be completely accurate In issue 6 the TMNT fight 4 naked triceratons in a gladiator esque arena, but since it's an army builder you can get however much you feel you need

I don't collect too much mirage turtles or Archie comics turtles. one thing. I was 5 years old in 84. Main focus was Transformers.. I started with those comics. There is a few I would like Say karai as the shredder. I try to get all versions of Shredder though. .Also no Shredder's throne was not in the movie. But you may be right about concept Idea. I know they just did for transformers studio series From the bumblebee movie. Concept Art figures. Who they had planned But never made it. They had Concept art Megatron, Sunstreaker, Rumble & Frenzy

@@LifewithDimeji There are a lot more characters they could be making from the show. The ultimate versions are great for people who didn't get Shredder and others years ago, but the line will die out if all we can expect are different Rocksteady & Bebops.
@Gullyman23 I don't collect the cartoon line, but Tattoo & Wyrm look cool! 2 old favorites of mine from the Playmates line. Pixel Dan also had an exclusive look at Cartoon Panda Khan. Apologies in advance if you meant characters who actually appear in the cartoon.

Just my theory here, but I won't be surprised in the slightest if after selling us all the battle damaged classic colors Shredder, they then reveal an ULTIMATE Mirage Shredder as an all-new sculpt. Look at what they're doing with cartoon Shredder, after all. I wouldn't worry too much about Karai given that reasoning either.

Rat kings already hitting stores. I saw a couple on the shelf at my local Target a few months ago.

Most of these are a pass for me, probably April, Monday, slash, tattoo and ultimate shedder if I see them are pick ups. The wrestling are a easy pass though I would love a single release black suit raph. Idk neca really hasn't held my interest with the tmnt overall most side chars aren't must have and most turtle variants aren't exactly amazing or are simply rehashes (I'm glad those are out for those who missed them though). Jim's set was the last I was really excited, the 2 pack space Don and samurai Mikey was cool but with out raph and Leo seems incomplete (alts like that only tend to buying sets or just raph). Honestly I'm more excited about super 7s tmnt line with the 2ktmnt and the music tmnt and a few other figs (Sargent gorilla being a big one) I mean yeah they aren't new reveals but still idk hit harder for Me anyway
Wouldn't be surprised if they do a themed Leo & Raph 2pack. I don't collect the cartoon line so I don't have a dog in this race, but I'd be surprised if they didn't do that eventually. Sounds like there's more to be revealed, this is just preview night. I'm looking forward to Mirage Rat King!
@ioncewasmikey wouldn't surprise me if they do either, can't say I have a dog in the race either as I don't collect one line over another i just buy the main 4 and whoever else catches my eye of different lines though. Yeah that rat king did look amazing definitely picking him up if I see him but haven't heard anything him in a month or so

The Turtles x Universal Monsters black and white redos feel like very gimmicky rereleases, but the easy response is to just not buy.
To be fair, we probably should have seen them coming given that they did both versions of the actual Universal Monsters. Have you seen the b&w 2pack in person? I'm actually digging the monochromatic paint schemes, though I haven't purchased yet. And they're $5-7 cheaper per figure than the color versions if the price of that 2pack holds true for the 4pack.
@@ioncewasmikey Fair. I’m definitely not saying they look bad. And they obviously fit the “older” aesthetic. As someone who already bought the regular releases though, this isn’t something I need. Them redoing Raph/Leo as new monsters before Shredder already had me pause on the line.
@BradHocTalk I'm with you there, I've been slowly putting together a set of the color versions, but Invisible Man Donnie is hard to find for a reasonable price these days. EE has him available for preorder, expected to ship in August (though it said July a day or 2 ago lol) so that might not pan out. Totally agree on Shredder- are we assuming he'll be Dracula? This line has always been somewhat disappointing to me in that they didn't follow the character match-ups from the vintage Playmates crossover. I think Creature Leo is the only one that is a straight analog of that line, and it's one of my favorites for that reason. And it just looks awesome haha. I'm not sure if I'll go down the b&w rabbit hole but I do like the looks of them. The 4pack box looks great too.
@@ioncewasmikey Yeah Donnie was the hardest to track down for me. Stock came available on BBTS at one point a while ago when I got him. If they ever get to Shredder, he has to be Dracula since Splinter is Van Helsing. I picked up the original 7, but never got Werewolf Raph or Creature Leo. Creature Leo is so much better than Hunchback Leo, but for now I don’t need a duplicate turtle in that line.
@BradHocTalk I had my chances at him for sure, but I was just kind of slowly picking these up. After seeing some of them come way down in price, I figured I'd play the waiting game, but for whatever reason Donnie had some rarity. Oh yeah, reasoning makes sense regarding Shredder as Dracula- I was assuming they'd do a Casey & April b&w 2pack so Splinter & Shredder rounding out the repaint line would make a lot of sense too.

i'm actually happy that there isn't a lot of new stuff bc i only have so much money and tmnt isn't the only toy line i buy lol. but the wrestling leatherhead made me hyped. i was hoping for an archie leatherhead bc he's my favorite version of him, to his look/art style and his back story.
