Overwatch Mug Highlights

To show off some mug making techniques, and options when you purchase one for yourself.
Mug Descriptions (in order).
Overwatch Mug - A pine mug made of scrap wood. It is soft so the logo isn't as strong in its detail because of the soft wood, but the technique I use is standard resin die and mica powder in thick super glue. Filed off it fills the logo beautifully. The other side (gray) is simply painted with acrylics for a simple beautiful contrast.
Zelda Themed - This mug is made of maple, so the hard wood keeps the detail of the engraving much better. And I need to finish staining the handle. Same acrylic paint technique on the blade to give it a touch of color. The bottom was given an inlay of corded brass wire that was shaved back leaving a nice beautiful pattern. The other side was given a simple engraving and the Triforce was also given a brass inlay. On another mug I put a brass Triforce in the clear resin for an added bit of detail.
Leopard Wood - This is an exotic wood that leaves a beautiful spotted and striped pattern depending on the angle you cut it. It is also using Maple so I was able to make the walls nice and thin. Instead of capping the leopard wood on the top and bottom I bisected the maple and made a mid-ring. I do this sometimes and it's a bit harder to work because of the angle but the result is still striking.
Red Maple Stained - This is another pine mug but instead of using the natural wood color it is stained Red Maple. The color is very deep and the nature of pine leaves a beautiful stripped finish. The stain is on the inside and outside.
Each mug is fitted with a custom handle. Whatever handle I usually think of at the time. Some I like better than others, but since I have large hands I make certain they fit me at least. That way anyone should be able to pick one up. You can request handle types and I'll do my best to duplicate it.
Each mug also has a transparent bottom. I think this is a great unique finish and is made of the same FOOD SAFE resin that lines the inside and outside of the mug.
