Our Room Service Restaurant Review at the Tampa Airport Marriott Hotel | Is Room Service Worth It

- In today's video, we had a very early flight out of the Tampa, Florida airport so we decided to stay at the Marriott hotel, located at the Tampa airport. We wanted to eat somewhere without leaving so we saw that the hotel had a couple of restaurant options, one being room service. Since we don't get room service very often, we thought doing a restaurant review at the Tampa Airport Marriot Hotel would be fun and helpful. We show you the full menu, how to order, how long it takes to get, the price, and the food. We then try everything. We got the steak quesadillas and also the meatloaf. The meatloaf was not worth the price nor would we get it again. The steak quesadillas were pretty good but we could have shared them or next time we said we would go pretty basic and just get the cheese quesadillas. We did think everything was pricey. As far as the drink goes, the Ginger Ale was small. We did get dessert which was the cheesecake brulee and believe it or not, it was freakin' good, almost stinkin' good! We would for sure get that again. Overall, room service at the Tampa Airport Marriott Hotel just wasn't worth it unless you absolutely have to get it. We would suggest going somewhere or maybe even eating before you get there. We hope this restaurant review in Tampa, Florida was helpful and next time you are at the Marriott Hotel, you will know what to expect!

1. Orlando World Center Marriott, it’s the largest Marriott hotel in the world with so much to offer.
2. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Orlando’s most luxurious resort hotel with the coolest grotto pool that is fantastic all around. Enjoy the restaurants at both, you won’t be disappointed! Be safe & blessed!

@@thealtemlife you are welcome, yes-the Orlando World Center Marriott is HUGE & the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is another excellent property with 1,500 acres of resort paradise of family fun & a pool worth checking out! Both have phenomenal food!

That looks like standard food delivery versus actual room service. Room service normally includes delivery on covered plates with actual silverware all on a tray. You can set what remains in the hallway to be taken away. This just looks like a very expensive Uber Eats. Good to know though so thanks for the review!

Staying at airport hotel always makes sense for early flights snd early flights are much more likely to depart on time. My suggestion to eat in room is order Doordash or Uber Eats.
Yeah that’s a great point! Wouldn’t recommend eating at this hotel but definitely going somewhere else.

Room service is good for occasional treat yourself but super expensive there’s marked up food prices then room service charge and tip is automatically added (don’t hand them a cash tip and give two tips)
Yeah it was a let down on this trip but the concept is always fun!
I think you're paying more for the convenience of having food delivered to your room at this property. I've had great room service and food at other places..

You do know most people who stay in airport hotels are on expense accounts, they don't care a beer costs $7, or a steak dinner costs $30.

You do know Marriott also makes food served on airlines...that's pretty much what that looked like.
I mention expense accounts because that's why prices are what they are. They know who the target audience is. Most people don't stay at airport hotels. Except corporate types. Hell, I had a job interview lunch at that hotel. Guy from NY stayed there. He paid for lunch. Not me.

marriott should be ashamed and hopefully you got a refund for that. Looks like an epic fail, besides the cheesecake I can't believe that brought it up in a brown shopping bag. room service nowadays is no different than door dash.
