    I started watching your videos after my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 ckd. It was very helpful and encouraging. He has rested in 2022, and I just want to say thank you for giving me hope. May you always win. GOD bless you.

    So if creatinine is only a marker and not harmful to my kidneys, is it safe to keep lifting weights then?

    • @DADVICETV
      @DADVICETV  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Correct. Just know that if your doctored does a eGFR blood treat looking at creating (it’s cheap and easy) then your estimate will come in lower. The trend should be your focus, so you can keep with the affordable test and working out!

      @@DADVICETV Thanks for the reply. That's good news! Do you have any idea why some folks advise against strenuous exercise with ckd if creatinine is not harmful? I'm newly diagnosed and trying to chart the best course for myself. Thanks for all that you do.

    Creatinine levels are not an indication of kidney function. You can have high levels of creatinine and have normal kidney function as in the case of those with higher lean muscle mass. Lowering your creatinine will not improve your kidney function. Even if you lowered your creatinine levels this won't translate to lower serum cystatin c levels which means your kidneys are still functioning poorly.

      I have to agree with you 1000 percent. Where do you find a doctor on the level of Dr Rosanky. Austin has Capital Kidney and City Kidney, hundreds of doctors, own the dialysis centers. Of course every last one wants to put you dialysis.

    Correct, it is a indirect marker for the kidney function! ( But there may be dangerous level in the blood, since the kidneys fight to keep it low) Maybe Cystatine C is a better method? You The man! I had a brilliant kidney docotr here in UK he left 2 years ago and now, a different doctor.... you have too much creatinine.... I do natural bodybuidling ect, of course its high! Don't eat over 80g protein she says otherwise your kidneys will get worse.... BS! My EGFR was 49 then went to 85 after going near vegen.... because its all based off creatinine... my first doctor did alot of other tests.... all show that my kidneys are okay, I have FSGS on 3 BP meds for this reason! Wish UK was more clued up like US!

    Q: Why are you still overweight?
    A: I'm (you) overweight bc I'm still eating modified carbs, sugar, and fiber. I'm (you) fine with being a diabetic and having CKD in the 'manageable zone'.
    The body doesn't like fiber therefore it goes in your mouth and out your arse and take other food with it...
