1) The Yoga Sutras of Patañjali is a collection of Sanskrit sutras on the theory and practice of yoga - 195 sutras and 196 sutras. The Yoga Sutras was compiled in the early centuries CE, by the sage Patanjali in India who synthesized and organized knowledge about yoga from much older traditions. 2) In Sanskrit texts, Rāja yoga was both the goal of yoga and a method to attain it. The word you asked at 15.18min ... What actually is Advaita? The Meaning or Definition of Advaita, Oneness or Nonduality. Advaita is the teaching of nonduality, which has become best known in the West through the nondual spiritual teachings of the revered Indian saint, Ramana Maharshi.

Buddha didn't buy the idea of non-dualism, sankhya or any indian philosophy. He completely dismissed Veda, Vedic Teaching or Vedanta or its God and Caste-systems (according to early Buddhism), Hindu brahmins made him as Hindu AVATAR ... thats how hindu philosophy work, making mind-made random philosophy and speculation. Buddhism is not a philosophy, but psychology. Buddha rebelled against vedanta in his entire life, people like Sarvapriyananda and his teachers Vevekananda and Shankharacarya were always against Buddha's teaching. They talk about Tibetian Buddhist which is far from Buddha's early teaching. Theravada Buddhist has the record of Authentic Early Buddhist Text. People like sarvapriyananda have destroyed the Gem of Buddha's teaching from its birthplace India. it doesnt make sense to equate buddhist idea of non-self to hindu true self or God
This is interesting, but I think beyond my understanding right now. I do not know really anything about Buddha's teachings. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
@@spiritualreactions Basically Buddha says "There is no soul/spirit, it's only the consciousness. Once you die, you die that's it, nothing remains afterwards." He teaches his way to attain peace, happiness, nirvana/liberation etc. by getting rid of dukkha (loosely translated as suffering) by his 8 step path. While doing so he draws a from philosophies of Yoga and Sankhya the concepts of meditation/concentration etc. but rejects the authority of Vedas and Upnishads. He is absolutely silent on the God, purpose of existence and other metaphysical ideas etc. He says that those questions are useless for common people and doesn't help to end their suffering. The path he's suggesting is a 'middle path' which is beneficial for all to attain happiness and fulfilment, and not only for few higher seekers. v/s Vedanta says "There is a universal soul/spirit either separate from ourselves (dualism or dwaita) or same as us (non-dualism or adwaita) and the goal is to achieve that knowledge and attain liberation/moksha." They talk/debate about all the metaphysical ideas in minute details as a way of knowledge. For them the Vedas and Upnishads are the ultimate authority. But unfortunately this way is very difficult for common people, and is exclusively for sanyasis (those who have left everything to become monks & seek higher knowledge). I hope this helps.

Adaivta means non duality is a philosophy who says there is no separation between you and the world, there is only one not two reality and you are part of that, I like you to google more about that it's called vedanta philosophy or non duality there are tons of material available there, many scientists like max plank and others have studied this and they loved it very much
Wow, thank you. That's a really clear explanation that makes more sense to me. You're right, I have lots of research to do. I have heard lots of people talk about non-duality without understanding fully what they are referring to. "...no separation between you and the world" I definitely believe that 🙏
@@spiritualreactions its really difficult to realize this, even I m on this path of non duality, its one thing intellectually understanding and another thing realizing that, one needs to meditata upon that, just imagine if the world understand this philosophy of non duality there will not be no war or conflict but only love for each other
@@utubetruthteller it's so powerful, but you're right, it's one thing to understand it intellectually and another to embody it
@@spiritualreactions if u need any help about that pls let me know
Hey how are you?
Hope you’re doing good ❤️
You're so kind. I've been unwell :( but just uploaded a new reaction!
Ohhhh, thank you for clarifying that - I had no idea. It sounds like I need to listen to some of Ramana Maharshi; of course I have heard his name mentioned a lot but yet to explore him. Do you know any good videos I could start on? Thanks again for answering my question...and making it through to 15mins 😀
Before "Advaita" , after "Advaita"
The word is "Advaita"
How would you translate this word? Or does it not translate well to English?
@@spiritualreactions "Advaita" ( अद्वैत ) translates to Nondual .
Referring to & denying the dualness of "I" & the Universe (Bhraman , loosely ) & hence saying they are the one & same.
Just Google "Advaita"
Thank you 🙏 I much prefer your explanation to Google’s 😅
Patanjali was great Rishi who taught Yoga or Yogi science
Ahh thank you, I didn't know that!
@@spiritualreactions you are welcome there are Lots teachers who really fantastic to watch them being Hindu i wasn't aware too however my father used teach all Basic Veda mantras but i am not very good at them. Now i am getting interested day by day bex of reading.i love reading and studying
Yes, me too. Love to read! It's often the way when our parents teach as things as younger children we are not interested, but I think we come to everything at the right time for our understanding
@@spiritualreactions Sanskrit itself explain how much a person can be used for spritual Work. All mantras will improve not only you but your surroundings too.
@@spiritualreactions my father or according to Sanskrit if you want to experience a great blissful mind wake up in the morning it is called (Bhraman muhurat)= 3 am to 6 am time in the morning is called Bhraman muhurat in this time you should recite mantras from Sanskrit. I will suggest you to buy a Book is called Nitya Karma padhi in Sanskrit.
Don't spread ur hate
