Challenging. I wonder if things like singing in a choir, sharing in general, listening to good stories, telling good stories, increase oxytocin release over the long term? I wonder what meditation does to oxytocin production?

My idea is that morality isn't just about being kind or generous, sometimes you have to use force to fight for goodness, like how we never offer money to someone who is lying about being poor and even get angry at them, or when we discipline a child we care for. The key is that we keep the lines for both generous and forceful acts. I think that's where we are in control and responsible for the good and bad things we do.

It seems the money giving offer would work only if the recipients did not know the amount of money the giver had received. So a giver could say, "I received 50 Euros and offer you 25." The recipient would think he had been offered half the money when he only gets a quarter of what the first person was given.

I really appreciate this research and the shared information. I think it would be interesting and fascinating to see how psychopathic people might respond to Oxytocin treatments, assuming that there is a safe and effective way to try this experiment. I wonder if Oxytocin given during times of potential love and affection to psychopathic people might have longer-lasting biological effects..like could it potentially act like a catalyst for them to start producing more of their own Oxytocin?....Really, this is just very fascinating in so many ways! Thank you for the video.

This sounds right, on the surface, but I thought that psychopaths have more than just a chemical imbalance, but more like are MISSING an entire SYSTEM in the brain which is the spindle cell or spindle neuron system.
This system is probably responsible not only for empathy with others (mirroring), but also thinking/planning ahead, and making non-self-centered moral decisions, among probably other things.
One way it apparently does this is by being deeply connected to many different regions of the brain, unifying them to a greater degree than otherwise, as well as modifying / modulating communication between the regions.
This is apparently the literal physical structure behind a “conscience”.
Probably, semi psychopathic or sociopathic behavior probably comes from this system being damaged or partially shut down or disabled (either by physical trauma/head injuries, emotional trauma, and/or perhaps the person making a conscious or subconscious effort to override or undermine this system), so I don’t think a true psychopath’s behavior towards others would be positively changed or influenced by the application of oxytocin, although a “sociopath’s” behavior might actually be improved.
Instead, I think the psychopath might just continue to reward themselves even more, being in a ‘good mood’, rather than suddenly start caring for others. They may even continue being harmful to others while in that ‘good mood’, in the absence of anything in their brain giving them compelling reasons why that isn’t a good idea.
This is the same reason why (from what I’ve read) true psychopaths are almost never drug addicts / alcoholics etc in that the substances don’t affect them in the same way, and so often they can start or stop using at will without being addicted.
However, I think this fellow is on to something when he correlates a chemical dependency with worsening behavior among people, because certainly a chemical addiction could impair or override certain normal brain functions / systems. It is well known that most addicts become harmful or abusive to others in some ways, even if they try to control this, due to the chemical dependency/ changes.
That doesn’t make them fundamentally bad people, but it does mean that chemical changes could materially improve their life and help them wean themselves off of drugs etc.
Now, I am not a licensed professional so I want everything I’ve written to be considered speculation, and not want people to go out there and experiment with legal and or illegal drugs and either try to “fix” themselves or others, but I hope this comment can become a springboard for further research.
