- This painting was difficult to do! I like the concept, but i think it needed some swipes of color into the opposite colors side. This is what art experiments are all about though. Learning what you would do differently and enjoying the process!

Pouring medium:
Floetrol/gloss medium and varnish (one product): 70/30
colors and base mixed 1 part paint to 3 parts pouring medium with a little water
Swipe color: 1 part paint to 3 parts Australia Floetrol

I couldn't really see it while it was on the table, but looking at the dried piece hanging up, I can imagine the silhouette of a lion roaring into a storm, or the universe. It's such an active, potent image!

It looks like two different universes battling each other. It’s neat how each side looks different. I think a white swipe in the black section would’ve made that side more visually pleasing though. Love that you enjoy trying new things and enjoying it as you do.

I love the white, blue and purple side. It was just fun watching you experiment and create. I grow tired with the Dutch pours and the same same with just color changes that fluid artist stick to. I much prefer to see growth and new things. Good job Molly.

I was depressed, as my father passed away, plus I was unable to travel interstate to attend his funeral due to Covid so I had to watch it via the internet. My gosh, that was hard to watch in the beginning. I’m a bright color fan, especially when it comes to blues, yellows, etc. the white side was so pretty and you kept adding red (least fav) to the dark side. I was so happy to see the majority of that side roll off the canvas! The final result is beautiful!
yes it is def a process when i am experimenting. while i do like the final result, i know what i will do differently next time!
