I absolutely adore this track. All of the lootrun pieces cleverly use their area's motifs, yet this one's the best one by far in my opinion. I adore how uncertain it feels, it fits the area of the sky islands perfectly. There isn't dread, fear, hopelessness or any of the likes in contrast with other areas. The occasional off-notes you can hear in the intro that wouldn't normally find in "Amongst the clouds" aid in conveying that feeling the most, expertly representing the feeling of flying through the sky, with your largest threat being not any enemy, but the unending void always looming beneath you. The track's invoking both feelings of constant pressure stemming from the threat of the void as well as determination in completing the lootrun. 10/10.
