by the way, you supposed to move the load whilst the lift is at the bottom, that way you could have tilted and moved the heavy equipment easily, then lift once positioned on truck. Thank you for video.
The dolly's weight is 98lbs according to the website. So how did you get the air compressor off the tailgate once you reached your destination? I'm guessing you took the dolly with you to unload? But if you physically have to lift up the dolly into the bed... wouldnt that defeat the purpose of not having to hurt your back?
Without the flat plate, it weights a lot less. I made up a 24 inch wide by 36 inch long plywood deck. Yesterday i loaded four two hundred pound ventilators using it. To get the lift on the truck I lay the handles on the tailgate, tipped it back and slid it in. I dont think I was lifting more and thirty pounds.
The specs fot the unit says 95 pounds. I was giessing 70. Yesterday I used ot to get some chairs from uhaul storage. I was able to lay it back against the handles on tje tailgate and tip it backwards and tirn it onto the tailgate. A ramp would have been helpful.

Found the instructions in the box underneath the bottom flap! Looks like just what I need at 78.
That's a great lift. Thanks for sharing it 🔧👍
Would this be ideal for lifting house hold washing machines, dryers etc to load into van or stack them?
You may need to add a bigger plywood base to the platform for bigger appliances, but yes.
Do you think it could lift a 390 lb French door fridge? I think the specs say 320 lb but I wonder if it can handle more weight.
That’s a good one but never lift high when transporting unless you are ready to transfer load to platform then you can increase the high.😂
Does it fold for storage and transportation?
The lift forks and front wheel bars unpin from the frame for transit or storage.
Hey, you got a Gravely too? Love mine.

Pushed it off at the junkyard.

Did you find any instructions for putting it together? Where did you get the mats?
The mats were from Tractor Supply. I think instructions were in the box.

Is the unit pretty heavy? Like would it be easy to load it into a truck bed?
