THanks for posting this mix. I've been looking for this mix for a long time. the last time I heard this mix was back in December 1989, while I was on Vacation In san Mateo. and listening to 105 KMEL
I have all of these but CP 33 as someone stole it along the way which I really miss that one it had a bunch of killer stuff. I guess I need to post all of these or post the ones that are not on TH-cam. Yeah 1989 were were on the radio back then in the Bay area Seattle Chicago and Miami. Im thankful Cameron taught me how to remix and produce mega mixes a certain way that basically he invented and I learned perfectly. Go to my channel and you can see that same type of mixes Camerons style on tiny musics tablets fr like 10 years ago LOL.
A friend of mines Cuz had a DJ by the name of Theo Mizuhara mixing with Cameron Paul on KMEL and passed a few mixes on to me. The best I ever heard till this day. Get it Paul!! Much love "I'ma call you Theo 'cause you weigh 92.3 pounds"At the time (circa 1995) Theo Mizuhara was a DJ on LA radio station KKBT 92.3 The Beat. Quik used to call Theo while he was on air and do radio drops for him. Hello from Arizona! Hip Hop ya don't Stop. Dec 2017
I remember listening to Theo Mizuhara's mixes on KMEL in the late 80's. He used to mix real late on Saturday nights after Cameron Paul's set. I think his mix show was called Club 106 in the mix. It was Theo Mizuhara and Dave Moss I believe. They were both really good. But till this day I think Cameron Paul is the best.
yep Theo did Saturday nights on KMEL with Cameron when they were at City Nights. Cameron was one of the 2 DJs who taught me how to DJ but Cameron taught me how to remix. I don't think I would even have a career if it wasn't for Cameron. We had our remixes played on both KMEL and KSOL and we thought we were so cool having multiple stations playing our mixes LOL
I recall that Theo’s mixes on Club 106 were production mixes and aired at the station. Then it switched over to a live broadcast at City Nights. I think Alex Mejia was just before Theo on Saturday nights. Once it goes to City. Nights, It’s usually the tail end of Billy Vidal’s set that then goes into. Cameron Paul love for the next two hours. It was a great time for radio mix shows then.
@@patofthesharingan6468 I really loved Hosh Kerelli I believe his name was. He was a director at KMEL and promoted and mixed house music at 3 and 4 am Sat nights. Then later came Mama's House. I still have recordings of all that on cassette in storage. lol
There's songs on this mix I forgot existed. This a great Mixx.
I wish CP were still mixing today...😢
listen to me mix on KXSF and KPCR! its about as close as you can get plus my mixes are crazier then CP's.
More😊😊😊
Stay in the mix with DJ Cameron Paul!! R.I.P.
Rest in peace . Thanks for great music mixes
