You don't run any of the descaling liquid through the grouphead? Isn't that usually standard procedure in descaling most machines? Was that part just left out?
Hello, thank you for your comment. Please note that the video was made only for technician as the descaling of LELIT Elizabeth is not quite easy. We confirm that the procedure indicated in the video is correct, however if your machine is under warranty, we recommend you to check this issue also with your reseller as he has the possibility to check the machine in order to determine the right moment for a descaling. Please also note that in case the procedure is not executed in the correct way, can cause the corrosion of some part inside the machine, therefore we recommend you to get this procedure executed by your reseller / by a specialized technician . Thank you, LELIT Team
To avoid splashing when using the hot water function, lelit elizabeth generally mixes water from the steam boiler with water from the coffee boiler. I think for that reason enough descaling fluid also reaches the (smaller) coffee boiler only by using the hot water function.
Hello, thank you for your question. To give you a correct answer we would need to know the exact water profile that you are using with the machine. The backflushing is an important procedure to ensure a quality extraction. For more details this regards, please contact your direct reseller or send an email to our care@lelit.com Thank you! Hi Lelit- Team, here ist my Question: Which components can it attack apart from the seals? Solenoid valves inside are not made of copper/brass and you should not decalcify two different metals together in one run but rather use suitable water, then decalcify as seldom as necessary and then have the parts removed and decalcify externally? Or is continuous descaling carried out by a technician still okay. What would contradict the information about the different metals or what is the reason why it is still okay despite the different metals as explained above? best wishes Wides

Hello Marcin, for the cleaning of the steam wand we recommend you to use the specific LELIT product PLA9203 following the instructions supplied in the packaging of this product. Thank you, LELIT Team
Why does this need to be completed by an Lelit technician? All you are doing is adding a descaling solution to the tank and flushing it through the system, there is nothing complicated about it! And shouldn't you leave the descaling solution in the system for a few hours to actually let it work. Surly flushing it straight through isn't removing any built up scale? What version of elizabeth was this performed on was it the latest v3 model? If not is the process the same for the v3 model? Lastly does the machine highlight when a descale is needed? Thanks.
Hello, the procedure is the same also for Elizabeth V3. Please note that the machine doesn't have the feature to indicate when it's necessary to execute the descaling procedure. The frequency of the procedure depends also on the water profile used with the machine, on the coffee shots and on how you maintain the machine. If your machine is under warranty, we recommend you to check this issue also with your reseller as he has the possibility to inspect the machine in order to determine the right moment for a descaling. Furthermore, if the procedure it's not executed in the correct way, this can cause the corrosion of some parts inside the machine.
