Tutorial worked great! 12bars down to 9 and my medium roast single origin is definitely coming out better. Only thing it's missing is tips on how to put the dang lid back on with the rubber gasket! Haha
Hello, tell me please, In my elizabeth if I turn it to higher the pressure it goes lowering the pressure… does mean its broken? And cant set it, it floats :(
Hey stefanus! Great! I have it on the factory setting at slightly above 10 - just awesome taste! PS: where did you get your YT subscribe video sticker from! I holve this !:) Thanks! Hinze
Great video, glad the OPV is so easy to adjust on the Elizabeth. BUT! Why should we have to? Lelit set the OPV so high DELIBERATELY so it works better with ESE pads! So they ruin their otherwise excellent espresso machines to make Espresso the wrong way. Grrrrr!
Hi Anthony thanks for your insight. I hv never used ESE Pods so i don't know about this. I guess for me i'm only using with its normal portafilter so i prefer 9 bar
Terima kasih bang utk youtube channelnya, keren. Saya baru beli mesin lelit Elizabeth. Kalau backflush gauge berfungsi baik..tp kenapa waktu buat espressor bar nya di nol terus ya? Padahal kopi sdh cukup halus. Apa ini normal ya?
I noticed strange behaviour: when I put a blind filter during group cleaning operation, it shows exactly 9 bar. But when I am making an espresso, at the begining of extraction the presure goes up to 12 bar, sometimes even to 12,5 bar, and during the extraction it slowely goes down to 10 bar. I set up 3 seconds of prefusion, it might affect the presure, I don't know.
Is the standard 10 bar pressure preferred? Cause based from my current research, the pressure indicated is usually higher than the actual pressure in the group head. Is the Lelit Elizabeth an exemption? If you set it at 9 and it indicates 9, will it be actually 9 also in the grouphead?
Hi you are correct that what in the pump may not be the actual pressure in grouphead while brewing. However many of Lelit Machine actually have the same or for example Lelit Bianca in its grouphead equiped with manometer shows higher pressure than pump pressure shows in double manometer
@@bluemystic7501 i guess thats good enough. Some medium light roasted would be better with long pre infusion and 8 bar pressure, i'm not sure how valid this is 😬

Hi, cheers for the video! I have a lelit anna p41tem and I set it to 10 bar but it drops to about 9 bar with the blindbasket and while extracting. Is that normal?
Thanks mate for your fast reply! That’s good to know. But I noticed something odd, well at least it seems to me. I increased my grams for 15,50g to 15,85g und was grinding a bit finer but the pressure went from 9 to 8 bars (1:2 ratio). Before it was from 10 to 9 bars, which it still does with the blindbasket. I thought the finer I grind and the higher the amount the more resistance. But maybe my tamper pressure was a bit softer😅. Do you habe any other explanation?
My recently bought Elizabeth came set at 11 bars with the blind basket. I have lowered it to 9.5 bars with blind basket. At the extractions it is usually starts at 9.5 dropping to 9 bars. I have seeing that I have had to regulate the grinder a little and lengthen the dispensing by 1 second. The coffee feels more balanced and I have less chaneling. Tell me, what have you seeing modifying your elizabeth and what is your best prefered pressure with blind basket? 🤔
What’s the lowest pressure you can set the OPV to? I tried setting it to 6 bar (for turbo shots) but it started leaking at the threads as though it was backed off too far. Is that normal?
I noticed this as well. I was just lowering the pressure (trying to get to 7 after watching Sprometheus’s recent video), and a bit of water started to come out of the threads. I don’t think it’s from the pressure, but from backing the valve out too far/loose. At the moment I’m at 8 bar and haven’t noticed anything. The bigger issue I am running into is linking the hose that connects to the valve. Do I just need to turn off the machine, disconnect the valve, straighten it, and reconnect it?
@@StefanusGoana Hi Stefanus, may I ask one more question? A few weeks ago I set the pressure to 10 bars, now it is up to 12 again. Does it change over time? Do you know if that is that normal?
Bang tolong kasih masukan ke Lelit biar mereka upgrade pompa Elizabeth ke rotary, trus boilernya digedein sama kayak boiler bianca. Menurut saya spek kayak gitu bisa diadu sama Linea Mini
Setting pump pressure to be not more than 10 bar i think useful to make better tasting coffee. For PL82T i'm afraid not this simple, you need to go under your pump to adjust it.
Hi, sorry to say Victoria is so much different. You gotta open the whole casing and get into the pump. It is the same with the rest of single boiler machine from Lelit. Its not that simple, but it is fun to try and learn as you get to know your machine better inside out
Sorry, another question before i buy Lelit hehe. Is it possible to adjust the pressure by changing other variables like grind size, dose, or tamping? Or it will stay at 11-12 bar no matter what?

Changing the pressure here seems a lot easier than for the Victoria or grace machines. Great design here to make it so accessible
Thank you for this tutorial. It's very useful. My Lelit Elizabeth generates max 8 bar, so now I know how to fix it. Best regards!
Salam ngopi nusantara dari Malaysia bang. Saya masih tunggu elizabeth sampai. Tak sabar rasanya.
Thanks for the video! My Elizabeth set to 10.5 bar as I bought it from official store. Wonder how much I need to adjust to make it exactly 9 bar.

Great vid - guess I should redusere my pressure, it is approx 12 with the blind-filter in, from factory setting.
Thanks for this. Worked easily, now 9.5-10 bar on the gauge instead of 11.5. Only hard part was putting the damn lid with the rubber piece back on!
Hahaha... need a bit of getting used to it
Now i know what you mean 😉
