Ancora complimenti
The best liber scriptus along with Oralia Dominguez (RIP). Maestro Muti has shown once more his matureness directing this requiem , since this is by far more profound and spiritual than earlier versions
A lot of complaining on yt about her alleged lack of chest voice and so on. I heard her in the flesh as Santuzza. Her low notes are very resonant and carry very well in the hall of the Dutch National Opera. And the acoustic there is not optimal, so that is saying something.
in that “ Anitas Heather “ video shows very well how Anita's recording has sound off in “ tuning program “ and barbieris technologically Raised up You must been deaf to not notic it or the sower of hatre, it’s funny ) no one can say that someone has a bigger voice than Anita in this moment in opera word, stop this hatred and dirty propaganda to Anita A deaf loser little sect boy. ) go and listen to DJ “this is opera’s” creating sound :D, and ask to him Which program he uses :D :D.
lokoshototb lokoshototb She is to good for you) , she is stylish! She is not vulgar women like past singer to sing all the time chest, she knows where must sing chest and where not, I soo her in salzburge, she was perfoming “requiem” and “adriana”, Anitas voic was phenomenal and big with beautiful color, you mast soo her performance in live if you can opportunity.
This vocal technique is odd to me. It's as if the mezzo cancelled at the last minute and the soprano stepped in to sing this. This is a hard pass from me after hearing, Domingues, Quivar and some others.
@@tristanberger8500 you are telling me she sang at Teatro al laScala, carnegie hall , the same stages as Nilsson, Callas, Tebaldi and Verrett sang on. Then it is a terrable dilemma the operatic community is placed and also how blasphemous it is to put such unremarkable performers on these stages where once great singer and performers stood
@@lutandomhlalase4416 I agree, Opera is in danger. And people don't habe any clue anymore about what is good and how it shouldn't sound like. Standards are..kind of lost. That's why I said: Its sad.

Florence Quivar the best
Rachvelishvili doesn't begin to compare with Dominguez
I’ve only seen Quivar live in Mahler 2. I would love to hear her in this requiem.@@vorspiel8

She doesn't have a proper chest voice. Listen to Dominguez or Obraztsova in the same work.
@@xxsaruman82xx87 proper chest or not it is still resonant. Het voice carries well in the concert hall. I heard her in the flesh.
Is that the drummer from the Lucerne festival orchestra Abbado Mahler recordings?
So young and wobble is already audible.. A darkened soprano as usual these days- No chest voice, no squillo, the middle weak.
And then go through this... (*coughing*)

She is mediocre.
Good for you if you like her and other flawed voices, so much to enjoy.
Okay okay men 😂
why you hear if you don't like her? 😂

por que buscan mezzo con tan poco cuerpo vocal para cantar verdi?? Florence Quivar les pasa el trapo a todas....
What a terrible renditions
kind of sad. isn't it ?- And her voice is considered one of the best in mezzo today.
