Pop down to Hillcrest. Lot's of panda garra, hillstream loaches, peacock gudgeons, p demasoni.😂 Unfortunately, whenever we order saabwa barbs they never arrive. Starry nights didn't sell very well down here. Something else interesting we have is Asian stone catfish.
I have hillstream loaches. Started with 5 and now I have a lot more. I hardly ever see the parents but the fry are all over and they are a lot of fun to watch. Also the fry just happen and find their own food in the tank. I haven't had to do anything special to feed them besides what I provide for the adult ones. Totally recommend them. Also this summer it was very hot and my tank water went to 29 degrees. They were completely fine.

I really like hillstream loaches but they arent cheap i find them to be expensive here in jhb.
the one fish i hope i hope to get one day is a panda garra.
