Ted makes an important point at the end. This is why I simply don't care about most higher end equipment and rarely recommend it. The duct work is rarely correct and customers will not pay for it to be done right. So I just recommend 14 to 16 seer and they are happy and it's easier to service.
It’s definitely a huge factor in what the homeowner gets out of the system. The nice systems definitely NEED TO BREATHE otherwise they’re loud, rattling noise makers that don’t even work well
Florida attics they don’t sweat
What’s the best one to install now?
2024 my HVAC guy says TAM6 is superior because it’s metal. He won’t touch the TAMX says that they are absolute ass!

Just installed one today… they’re not that bad going into a closet. However going into an attic they’re not that fun.
The Trane GAMs are light but hard to install due to how they go plastic to metal inside.
Absolutely love the Hyperion systems but the evap coils are absolutely awful.
Do you guys know that the IRA pays up to $10k for heat pump installation starting from 2023?
No, up to $3,200 only. It's basically 30% off up to $10666ish
@@johnjingleheimersmith9259 No, low income buyers can get more. It's very complicated.
It’s a peice of junk I won’t sell them at all
