When he sent that fast ball to shidou, he could’ve been acting instinctively, like shidou does which is y he kept speaking emoji, again like shidou. So since Charles is a contrarian and he doesn’t wanna pass to rin, what if rin ignores him back and Charles, being the contrarian, would give in and start working with him and that sparks the rin system into a frenzy. i hope something happens next chapter lol.. I like Kaiser, not a fanboy but dont hate him like most people seem to. He is getting all these chapters dedicated to him i am hoping it doesnt end up being a huge waste of time. We were told it is a team ruled by logical thought and logic dictates that focusing on Kaiser and relying on Kaiser impact is the best option.. With Isagi the team worked out and is way stronger but his Assist on the barcha game did not make him the most logical opinion, Isagi becoming a starter took bastard logic concept and ignored it totally

Kaiser does have ness and some others on his side , but isagi has kunagami, hioiri, karona, yukimia, and richi(I know I botched half these names but I’m too lazy to search them up. This along with the fact that the NEL is suppose to cause blue lock player to evolve at a rapid rate not Kaiser. If Noa just played isagi as a middle fielder then maybe the team would be better but it would go against the entire point of the NEL and what ego wants.

The fact that you can have another viable striker option is what made Isagi able to stay on the team and Kunigami had the best physical stats on the BM team excluding Noa and finished 3rd in the test they made (genuinely don't know how Ness beat Kunigami on that test) so being able to use him is what gave Isagi a starting position. 2 is that Isagi is basically a test for Kaiser by Noa. He is not a starter just because he is the protagonist. There is some truth to that since this is his story so of course he'd be given a starting position, but you can see the logic being laid out by the author as to why he claimed a starting position.
