Agree with you on that Flowstate comment. If you wanna go more in depth read "Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience". This is what the flow concept of Blue Lock is based off of.
8:19 Another reason as to why makes Barou’s current character is great is that after his evolution in the 2nd selection, he didn’t just do a complete 180 (like Rin in the U-20 match). He simply adapted what he learned with his old ways of playing. As stated by Hiori and Isagi, Barou might be a selfish king, but his selfishness is not a negative, as it is essentially a fuel and an inspiration for his team.
The craziest part about bluelock is that it's the reason I went back to football and now I play for are semi pro football club it was due to isagi yoichi , sae itoshi and chigiri these characters and the rest I can't I can't name coz this would be to long this is why love bluelock
I completely agree with you when it comes to Kaiser's character former Kaiser hater Chris was definitely right about his mentality and I never liked that about him. But now that he's actually facing challenges and facing challenges he's probably ever been in his entire life. I actually like his character still team Himisagi THO
Dude this is the absolute best blue lock essay video I've ever watched. This video needs way more exposure to the blue lock community. It's such a breath of fresh air to see that people actually READ the story and are able to see it's more than what people try to see it for and staple shallow shonen writing standards onto it. Blue lock is about people, it's about mindset, it's about goals, and it's about growing. Blue lock in itself is an amalgamation of lessons that the reader takes and applies into their lives. Every character in Blue Lock is written to be HUMAN and act that way. They have flaws, failures, and evolve and growth despite that. It's so annoying to see people read it and only be like "O Kaiser is a fraud he missed a shot, he's garbage" or "Isagi is such a bad striker, he needs people to help him score in a TEAM GAME instead of dribbling past the entire team at lightspeed solo". That isn't the point of Blue Lock and people have to stop viewing it like it's a battle shonen. Blue Lock is real life. The people in it are written to be like they are in real life. Emotions, ideals, behavior, sense of self, boundaries, breakthroughs, achievements, failures are all things that affect the story, a character's growth, a player's performance, and the outcome of a game. Blue Lock is a story about trial and error and how people in the world deal with these obstacles in their life. Sure at the start of the story it was about being the best striker in the world, and it still is, but that aspect as taken a backseat for the most part in this story because the story is now more about the characters finding their own place in the world and world of football. A character isn't a trash character or "fell off" or "isnt motivated" or "has no ego" because they don't want to be a striker anymore. They follow their own egos and motivations to be the best in the world in the position they now wish to excel in. Blue Lock is a story of failure, improvement, and self-discovery.
This why I think noa would is the best master because he gives them what they need to solve the problem but doesn’t give them the answers so they appericiate and understand how they got that results and are able to repeat the process
I wanna do a video on it but here's a summery, Snuffy is the best master for the overall system, but Noa is the best master for the prodigies, Snuffy can make average players into great ones, Noa can make prodigies the best in the world, man i keep loving this series more and more
I think something similar to what you said happened to Ao Ashi, where the coach of Ashito’s team said that if you give the players the ability to answer their own questions, instead of the coaches telling them, it will be stuck with them for a long time.
I know this is like 2 weeks old but I'm surprised you made this video without talking about Reo once because imo he's like one of the best written characters in Blue lock but anyhow great video
Love these videos my man, genuinely great lessons and it is much more than a discussion, it’s an analysis of everything which shows your depth of knowledge in understanding. Keep up the videos brother 💪
I feel like kunigami final bid should be bm because of a couple of things 1. He's the copy of the best player they have 2. Isagi works best with another striker with him, sure there might be another forward that just didn't come to the nel 3. Like i said in 2, there could be another forward but it wont be as effective, and would make the team way weaker, even though kaiser is better than kunigami as a striker,as we see kunigami has other wepons that can shorten the gap (4 and 5 are going to be more biases than rational) 4. It would be a mirror of PXG rin and shidou 5. I just like kunigami and isagi play together
Isagi learning predator eyes would be a good thing. You say it doesn't match his play style as he opts to shoot where he's completely free, but that in itself is a weaknesses as it makes him predictable to people who have Meta Vision and know his play style. If Isagi can attack and score when free or in a crowed area he would become more dangerous. Isagi isn't afraid to change so I'm certain he will try it one day.
Score in a crowded area with what? he doesn't have a great shooting ability for crowded areas, if u pay attention Isagi waned to copy Kaiser and he did but he never copied his shot because he knows it's impossible and he never tried to copy his PE or even Barou's because he understand his limitation, instead he acquired weapons that beat his weakness, by breaking through the defense and guaranteeing his freedom to shoot, if you are still doubtful please go and reread chapter 158, his conversation with Noa sums up his ideal playing style which doesn't fit at all with PE

The importance of how the blocks need to fit together. Protagonist feeling.
Blue lock 100% could’ve been one of if not THE best anime in the world if it had the animation of even one piece. It would feel amazing watching one piece animation, with the hype of gear 5 for the 2nd watch, nearly every goal.
