This doctrine is deeply ingrained in the family I married into who are also very active in the church I "married" into. I didn't know better when I married into this family that this doctrine even existed really. I didn't know the name of it or its many names really. I have since learned better and see the damage being done (mostly the young not wanting anything to do with church). My church is slowly being infiltrated by this stuff...mostly through the women leaders (I heard your teaching on that and witness it myself!). My church is dying...mostly older attendees...the young are fleeing. I fear in ten years there will be none of that church left. I pray for my church, for my family who still doesn't see, for my children, for the young and confused teens who don't know what to make of these false doctrines....I also pray for my pastor. He's the only one who can stop this from truly taking over our church. I do believe the time will come when my husband and I will be seeking a new church! As it is, my husband sees more now but is not ready to leave. I long for a church that gives meat filled teachings of sound doctrine! As it is, I'm searching youtube for sound doctrine teachers because our service usually last 20 minutes and Sunday school is usually lead by a women so I don't attend. I usually follow online pastors who teach verse by verse, chapter by chapter but I recently found you and so far my Bible scale shows you are teaching sound doctrine too so I subscribed.

I used to get all tied up with the Charasmatic/Pentacostal false teaching of the 2nd baptism of the spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Since reading the bible more intently i have come to realize this teaching is not biblical. Wow!! I am now free. Thank you Lord.
