Great suggestion! I find that psuedoscience tends to have a mass appeal and often lacks general rigor in trade for exciting marketability but I will be sure to find a guests to discuss things like that skepticalinquirer.org/exclusive/the-telepathy-tapes-a-dangerous-cornucopia-of-pseudoscience/
I'm surprised that you would refer to it as pseudo science. I believe there will be some actually statistically significant science done on the phenomena in the near future.
@Meta4Monky that will be great, and I will be happy to see it, but for my money these sorts of exciting concepts generally don't pan out. But it's always a fun conversation to consider. Mostly I'll be learning about animals and such as I find everyday reality to be under appreciated in favor of the types of topics explored in sci-fi movies and TV
I'll be here for it for sure. If you get a chance I would love to see you talk to Michael Levin some day. He is a professor at Tufts and his work is interesting.
Hey Shane. Big fan of yours. Hope you put up a documentary / show on the internet of your psychedelic comedy show for those of us who cant make it to one one day. Will check this out now. Much love
@@jasonmurray6055 ha. The solo stuff was some longwindedness off the dome to be sure. Going for an authentic feel. I'd be curious what you think about episode two where I have a guest interview. That is more representative of the show. Hope you like it.
Oh. BTW, I do have a documentary about psychedelics already on amazon prime www.amazon.com/Psychonautics-Exploration-Psychedelics-Shane-Mauss/dp/B07P763S4X but you will have to wait a few months for the two-part comedy special.
Hey Shane I posted a comment here of something I thought might pique your interest, but it's been deleted! Any idea why? Are there rules for the mods etc?
@@PeterEdmondson I didn't delete it. Let me see if there was some sort of block or spam checj or something. It's been awhile since I looked at TH-cam settings. Thanks for letting me know
Hey Peter, Sorry for the delay. I just went through my account to see if it got marked as spam or something and I didn't see it. Feel free to repost and/or let me know if it happens again in the future. Happy to have people contributing!
In addition to my fondness for change and being a very different person than started podcast 13 years ago, I'm trying to do something different with this show than I have in the past.
I love Shane's work. I'm excited to see his evolution into this new age of psychedelics and technology.
Telepathy would be a great subject to investigate. The telepathy tapes are wild and appear scientific.

Pretty stoked on making the art for this project (and next year's FOTA celebrations). Cheers champion! :)
Thank you! I can't wait to see the podcast art evolve!

Here I was, all geared up for Groundhog's day when there was a whole feast I've been neglecting.
We will not be missing next year. Mark your calendar. I am working on a pilgrimage

Why do you want to break away from your old brand?
