My dear and respected friend, Thanks so much for this video. I just hit the subscrine button and gave it a thumbs up! My story: 2008 528i with electric water pump... The transmission malfuctunioned and so did everything else. My dash lit up like a Christmas tree so I determined that my alternator brushes were worn out but decided to replace the entire voltage regulator. As I was testing my diodes, the multimeter's reading was not changing on both polarities. It was staying at 1. I installed the alternator and while charging the battery, I decided to check the voltage but I had the same problem with the multimeter. I checked your video and determined that my test leads are not working. Thanks so much my friend. I completed my repair with your help!!!
Hi Just bought my 1st multi meter yesterday. It’s just a very basic, from what I can see from your multi meter and mine, we have different brand name and model no. and mine doesn’t have the continuity icon (wifi icon). Everything else on multi meter are the same. My question is how can I test my leads to see if they working, making that sound when I put the leads together, without the wifi icon ? Is there another way (apart from getting a new 1 with the wifi icon 🙃) ? Thanks
Hi its very unlikely that a multimeter does not have this continuity option. Are you sure there is no such icon on your meter, sometimes it might be very small and clustered among other icons.
Hi Thank you for getting back to me 🙃 Yes I’m sure, even at the store confirmed as-well, when I took it back to them. He did showed me (which I’ve forgotten already 🙃) a way to check, without the noise. Anyway, once I’m familiar and comfortable using my very basic meter, will fork out a extra $20 or $30 to buy another meter with the wifi icon 😀👍 Thanks again
When I set Multimeter DC current range it's not showing zero it's automatically fluctuating numbers without touching any probs... Please help what was a fault in Multimeter
Hello , i think i tested current in wrong way for lithium ion battery and now the multimeter showing -1 1 and not even beeping in connectivity option Do you know any solution for this, like replacement of components on the chip? Thank you in advance.
Good day, I have a multimeter Benning mm 1-2 but I have a problem only on AC, it measures half the voltage, not the whole. For example, if the voltage is 220 V, it measures 110 V. Nobody knows how he's doing.
I get the beep, however before I put the 2 leads together my meter shows OL,with the om symbol in the top right corner. I'm using a Craftsman Autoranging Multimeter 82309
Thanks a great help! I wasn't getting any movement or sound and realized my connecters weren't connecting good and I pushed them down more and then I had movement on the dial but still didn't hear a beep then realized I had the TV on too loud and there was a beep that I could hear when I turned the TV down.
Dont play with me son I'M LOSING MY 🤬 LOL 😭 when I connect both the leads, my display will go from 1 to 750 and fluctuates from there with no beep (I believe when i first got this multimeter it made the beep noise) I am thinking the leads are damaged somewhere. Im not understanding this though because the leads still generate readings? I am at a loss. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated :')

I have a question. Why does it show a negative value, right at the 0.21 mark? Mine do the same thing even after changing the battery.
❤❤❤❤nice video
Thanks just bought all the equipment now i just have to learn how to use it

You might need a new fuse

Hi
Please help me. My multimeter got some reading in the continuity mode even though the probes aren't connected. Idk what to do.
Thank you❤🌹🙏
Or the wire connecting to the speaker inside is broke
is it possible to measure the capacitance of fan capacitor using this model of multimeter... I am unable to figure out
No

I'm using a Craftsman Autoranging Multimeter 82309
That's normal it stands for open loop
When I set in to continuity mode the screen turns off and there is no sound. It is a brand new multimeter, never used before

When i put my multimeter on continuity it continually beeps, even when i take off the leads... what could that indicate?
That means your multimeter is faulty.

Most likely a bad multimeter. Even damaged rotatory switch can also make such problems. It is advised to try a new multimeter.
@@Circuitdigest Thanks for responding 🙏 I will try another out :)
When I go to Continuity mode, my multimeter beeps without touching the leads together
Yea mine too. Did you figure out why
Sir Mera pa value 5 dikhara ha but beep sound kar raha ha
My multimeter on DC only shows 1
1 is equal to OL. ie there is no input is detected or the value is out of range.
my value is 00.8 is ok or not
