The most dominoes toppled in a spiral is 55,555 and was achieved by Sinners Domino Entertainment (Germany), on the set of "Officially Amazing" (CBBC/Lion TV), at the Wilhelm-Lückert-Gymnasium in Büdingen, Germany, on 12 July 2013.

It would have been cool if the tops of the dominoes were different colors from the sides so that it looks like all white on the top, but when it is pushed over it reveals the actual pattern

Yeah, the biggest problem is that by any chance someone trips or something trips into the dominoes or that one domino was too far away in middle of the dominoes stopping th momentum.

When my son was about 11 years old he entered a Jaycee Relay Race. He’d never ran track before and didn’t know everybody wore shorts. He came in jeans, to everyone’s amusement. He ran the last leg for his team - and came away the fastest runner of the day, and made up considerable distance to win. This video made me think of that day. How I wish I had been able to see it, instead of only hear and read about it. I was a single mom and had to work. My son was an amazing athlete. ❤️

I really like this video. People are so dedicated on doing something special to be known worldwide. In this case, making a world record obstacle with almost 300,000 dominoes. I congratulate the person or people who made that moment happen.
Utterly brilliant, you went for"most donimos toppled in a spiral" which was 30 but you went the mile more topping it off with detailed pictures and greats triks. Despite some failing, you did amazingly!

In The Netherlands we used to have a huge event (millions of dominio's) where they had to built in safety zones to stop a complete field from falling over when someone would make a mistake. Sometimes, for safety concerns these were removed after the first stone was toppled and had set everything into motion, simply because they could not afford to have a field topple beforehand.
