for sports fans.... march 2020 to july 2020 was one of the absolute darkest days in sports. in a world of uncertainty, fear, and panic.... sports could've been our moment of respite. just a little break from the norm, especially in such a chaotic year. thankfully, that's when Jelle's and their marbel runs came into my life. I'll never forget those days, working from home, being away from friends and family, all of us doing our part in quarantine... I never thought for a second we'd be back to normal, and now we're here. this is a celebration. thank you, jelle's.
Oh this is wonderful!! Such variety! I love how the metal marbles sound different when they roll, and how different the transparent colored marbles look in action (the waterfall) versus what the solid opaque marbles look like (the main event). I loved all the different camera angles towards the end, and running the video backwards was genius!! It was cool to see Jelle building the run: the master at work. And I was hoping you'd show the gold marble at the end, and you DID! Everything was perfect: the design, the build, the live action, the editing, the music - everything. Thanks Jelle!
I guess I must like processes more than just preset displays. I like setups where you just dump the marbles into the collection bin, turn on the marble lift, and then watch how the continuing flow of marbles makes all the intricate unique, interesting mechanisms interact. This is a different idea more like a domino chain; lots of meticulous setup for something that happens once and then is over.
Reminds me of when I was a kid. Our town’s movie theater had paved, non-stepped floors that sloped from high in the back of the theater to down low in the front of the theater. And so for entertainment, people would stock up on Lemon Heads candy from the concession stand and then entertain themselves for the entire movie by “accidentally” dropping their Lemon Heads on the floor to listen them roll to the front of the theater.
@@eliezersmarbleraces3137 I think I made it pretty clear that I enjoy this content because it goes back to their roots, which wasn’t the racing. I just wanted to include my fav team on the comment. Why is everyone on the internet so critical?
OK. I had no idea this sort of thing was being done. I am amazed by the results, and even more by the astonishing patience and planning that would be essential to any such endeavor. Roll on, Dude! Subscribed.
something mesmerizing about watching that mass of marbles migrated down the hill in a wave thanks for a few moments of "small chaos".. looking forward to sand rally season!!
To repeat: no cheating, no weight balance issues, no favoritism. Just marbles. How it should be. Excellent. Now, if people would actually agree with this statement.
Man, there's 9-1/2 minutes of my life I'll never get back, but it was thoroughly enjoyable! And all those colors! Back in my 420 days, this would have been really something. Subscribed.
There are many ways to describe how cool, interesting & fantastic this video was, however, I think the best way to do it is by just saying simply excellent.
I love all the names. Green Viper and Marble Falls. I thought the Red vs Blue was very creative. Stardust is a gorgeous marble. Thanks so much for sharing.
You've spoiled us. Six days alone to make this?! My goodness...thank you! It was beautiful and a great way for me to relax to the nice sound of marbles after a rather trying week, lol. Loved the replay portion as well!
Jelle's Marble Runs......every video a winner. You certainly have more patience than I, my good man. I am especially intrigued as to how you were able to train those marbles to roll uphill and reset themselves. You are the Marble Master.
The colours are amazing! I do not envy you having to tidy up and sort them all out, though. But it was worth it, I was glued to the screen. I was only a bit upset when the blue dragon won 😉🏴
@@magentalady I also quite enjoy sorting cans of nuts and bolts into their own little bins, so I can still spend an hour looking for the right sized screw needed for a job, but in a highly organized, methodical search, instead of dumping out the can on the workbench and sifting through the entire contents for three hours lol \m/
Wow! I was not expecting to be so entertained 😮. Beautiful! The view from underneath the rainbow "ramp" was especially cool. It was when the word "Subscribed" turned into one of those images from "I am not a robot." Well done 👏
I've only been subscribed to this channel for 3 months, and I love this content. The marble races are awesome, but I like this kind of stuff way more. Can't wait to see what's next!
Amazing Work, by the way, I've been watching since 2019 Marble League and you have never failed to excite or suprise me. All your work is amazing and I wish the best for you.
While I absolutely love your voice and commentary in your other videos this video with just the sounds of the marbles is heavenly ASMR. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication!
The delicate balance had held for so long, the families living downstream of the great marble field could not imagine what was about to be unleashed on their community that day.
Great to see the return of the "underneath cam", i really hope it'll come back during some of the races. Seeing some marbles go upstream and go back up again, i wonder, will there be some kind of "Salmon Race"? As in, a kind of race where marbles need to go up to the finish, instead of down, maybe done as a relay race of sorts? That reminds me of those 80s/90s shows on TV where countries would compete in obstacle courses.
Nice surprise at the end. Also the time-lapse was great. The suspense with regards to whether or not you accidentally set it off ahead of it being done had me watching very closely. Setting up 10,000 marbles and ensuring they don't go off ahead of time made me think of HEVESH5 and her domino routines. Actually, in her most 'community' channel video she talks of mistakes all domino folks make (or have made, including her). One of those was forgetting to do what you forgot: adding a barrier near other dominoes in case a domino bounces and hits one elsewhere in the chain. At least in your case, the end result was a marble bouncing onto the floor. With her routines, it kinda messes up things. Both of you, though, put together awesome displays. One last thing: Thank you for no background music. The sound of the marbles is music enough.
Thanks! In terms of safety, I set the marbles from start to end, so when I drop a marble, it will roll further down without "damaging" the field, so I don't need to redo a lot if I drop one marble. If I will make bigger fields, I'm planning to add barriers, especially when other people will help me in future projects.
The the sound of the marbles leaving the marblomino field reminds me of the sound of applause you deserve.
I love u!

Stardust must've been so nervous. Like, I can't imagine being the host of an event with 10'000 marbles waiting for your arrival.
It looked to me that they were really enjoying themselves and was milking it a few times. Either way, they got their 15 seconds of fame.
stardust jingles when nervous
Yeah agreed
Stardust should just remember that he is the mascot and everything will be all right.

That “dragon fight” section was really cool! As well as the big sea of marbles rolling together!
