Your bottom tray black sponge is postioned in the wrong direction, isn't it? The wavely side should face down, as it got more surface area to trap the dirty stuff. all in all, nice maintainence shown!
Does that magniflow hold up compared to the fluval? Wanting to get a canister and seen a big sale on the magniflow but I was leaning towards fluval of course
The fluval 407 and the FX-6 products are great and hold up well. I don't have a magniflow products but l do have a marineland canister and a Hang on back filter which all works great. I'm sorry I can't help you with the magniflow products.

You're right I founded the box the marineland canister came in and it said magniflow 360 canister filter on the box. I have this marineland canister going on two years. I just did a video on it about two months ago. But all the filters I have I like the fluval 407 and FX-6 canister.
I will be having this canister filter with the same carbon bags going on two years. I clean the carbon bags in tank water when I cleaning the container.
We are dealing with fish waste and I don't want to passed anything to the fishs. That's why I used gloves when cleaning the fishs tank, filters. Thank you for your comments.

Seriously though; did you prime it while it was running?🤔 Didn’t have to do that prior to running?
After connecting the holes to the fluval it automatically refilled and prime itself. I like to make sure all the air is out the system.
