- Bathroom fan sound levels from Broan, Delta Breez, and Panasonic. Ask any questions in the comment section and I will answer the best I can. I installed all these fans myself and took video with the same iPhone to keep consistency in the audio level. It took me buying a few fans before I found the one I wanted. Hopefully this video will save some people from buying a fan that is too noisy. Even though the Delta Breez is rated at 0.8 sones I found the motor noise annoying on it.

I don't have any of these sounds, I just replaced bearings on a bathroom fan from ORTECH and I can't remember what the fan used to sound like. Right now the main sound I can hear in the space outside of the bathroom is some metallic continuous sound (rather than the air being sucked in) I guess of the bearings moving inside the casing and rubbing along the outside. It's not annoying but it's the main sound I hear which isn't the case on these videos, hmmmm

Have you checked the outside vent next time? Can you record the vent outside?
Which one did you go with and how much was it? Did you buy from Amazon?
Panasonic. It was about $119 on amazon.
Are the light and fan on broan 50 CFM on 2.5 sones operated on one or two?

You can have them work with one switch or two. Just depends how you wire it. I like wiring it with one switch so people don't forget to turn on fan when they take a shower.
