Weak effort.
People will say what they will, the striking similarities are there, but that’s their sound man. They both put out some pretty good stuff since they went their separate ways, but their sound together is undeniable and one of its own. It’s dope how the whole Crowes experience comes full circle and after 30 years it’s just these two brothers still creating that same iconic sound.
It’s more of a mix between Jealous again and under a mountain
That voice is so instantly recognizable!

Killer Riff, slow and heavy!!!! the Hammond, the voice, two mean & short guitar solos. This band is peaking!
Rock and Roll used to be everywhere but now its all some sort of pop due to streaming music. Glad so see the Crows and rock are still fighting.

@@arielgomez4464 Tal vez Yngwie Malmsteen no tocaría bien este estilo. Ser buen guitarrista no se limita a "cuántas notas por segundo se pueden tocar". La expresión, el ritmo, el sonido (guitar tone) el sentimiento... son palabras que suenan trilladas pero para este estilo de los Crowes ES TODO y marcan la diferencia entre una banda buena y una del montón, y un guitarrista bueno y uno del montón. Por algo Keith Richards está donde está. Todos podemos aprendernos los temas de los Stones en nuestro primer año de tocar la viola. Pero nadie los va a tocar como Keith.
To me these guys are the the American Rolling Stones! This is how you do it for sure. Pure Rock and Roll. Real deal. Not fake crap thats everywhere now days. Love this music. They just tear it up!

Man, these F'ing guys are ageless! Sound just as good today as they did almost 40 years ago! One of the greatest lead singers of all time. Spectacular

@@nestorlopez6983They're pretty good, but they're not even close to the level they were at in the 90s. Also the lineup with Luther Dickinson that recorded Warpaint and Before the Frost was amazing, with unforgettable live performances. The brothers always deliver solidly, and Chris's singing is fantastic, but no, this lineup isn't the best iteration of the Crowes by any means. I'll still go see them in Spain, but I know it won't quite match the excitement of their past performances for me.

He is. He is the alchemist in the band, much like Jimmy Page was in Led Zeppelin.
For me, this one is pure Keef. Never heard someone channel the man like that before.
It really is one of the best records they've done in their career. Hats off to the brothers. Loved em since the beginning, just like Jimmy.

Saw them on the Southern Harmony tour & with Jimmy Page. It’s been a long time. Would like to but it depends on when, where & how much. Not willing to drop a deuce or more on one ticket and/or into driving hours away from home to see em’ & how to take time off from work.
@@realledbetter5015 saw them in 94 at a small place in Nashville called 328 didn't announce it until the day of the show. I just happened to be driving to work that morning and heard it so me and some friends drove two hours to stand in line at the door since it was first come first serve. The band got off the bus greeted some of us that where some of the first ones in line. Awesome show and I don't think I'd ever been that high in my life. LoL

Apart they are both still great musicians, but together they create an unmistakable sound. Sure, their inspirations can be heard, but there is no mistaking the combo of Rich and Chris together, that sound is and always will be The Black Crowes. This album is truly mind blowing with how every song sounds like it could’ve been on any of their first 3 albums.

Yeah, I like the new material. Saw a version of this band in Poughkeepsie, NY. It was general admission and I wound up about 15 from the stage. You could barely see the group through the smokey haze, lol. It was awesome.
I have always listened to BC, at this stage of maturity without rebellious attitudes, with the players they selected are in the best moment for my taste. Upper level.

Me and my girl saw them in a fairly average sized club right before their second album southern music and harmony collection came out. They played every single song from the first album mega hits. Play the few new ones of course . Thorn In My Pride was unbelievable .
We had a high bar table just passed the main floor where everyone had to stand. It was just a perfect spot. These guys kicked ass so hard. And they weren't even the opening act that night. This was about 10 miles outside of detroit.
