So I have been hearing some good things about this Billy Strings and have only now taken a look. I am 15 min in and Totally 100% a fan now.
I saw him in Austin moody center. It was an amazing show. Best performance I’ve ever seen. I sat in 150 dollar seats. But tbh I would pay double that to see him again

Oh, come on ! There has to be someone who knows. Please chime in. If there is not anyone I am going to have to assume most of the comments are from non-musicians who just get sucked into trends and are really a bit too shallow to REALLY dig into GOOD music. Billy is great and has opened a lot of eyes to music actually played with instruments. Not to mention he may single handedly start a bluegrass revival. He is great for music all around, but there are a lot of other players who might turn you on just as much as Billy does. And they deserve there dues because they worked just as hard as Billy did to learn their craft and develop their talent. I have played for 40 years and I did not know "The Likes of Me" was a Jerry Reed tune, so he turned an old hippie on to something new, but there is a lot of stuff the old hippies could turn some younger people on to. Don't take this negative. Take it as an invitation to go searching for REALLY GOOD music. I love Billy and what he does for the scene, but there are others who can smoke and know there stuff and they can keep you listening. You just have to REALLY, REALLY love music and not what is the hot trend on any given day. Everyone be cool and lets all groove on some good stuff. But not by computer generated garbage that passes for music. Call it audio entertainment if you like it and enjoy. But these people are NOT artists in any sense of the word or definition. Nor are they playing "music". Billy and some others MUSICIANS are artists. My apologies to the rap and hip hop lovers. If you like your stuff, cool. But you are cheating yourself out of MUSIC that is just on a different level than computer generated audio. Keep everyone listening Billy. You know what I'm saying.
