Ah, the fantastic Billy Strings!!! One of the best talents, humans, guitarists, singers, songwriters and bandleaders that ever grew up in America. His kindness and grace are a role model for all. We are very lucky to witness this in this young man. I credit his dad for showing young Billy so much love and of course his first 6 string. I love Billy's Preston Thompson rosewood flattop. Billy and his dad play some beautiful mountain music together. Billy's band is full of the best musicians. All can lead. Fantastic vocal harmonies. Billy's respect for our shared musical past is most reassuring. May Billy have a long and fruitful life. It is so wonderful to watch and hear.

I agree even his videos are killer,the new< home> video is excellent i can relate to it where hes coming from, the kids tearing it up .Hes also rocking with the Gratefuldead drummer in MaHalo on RELIX they jam with some incredible people, Carlos Santana and others.
He made it past 27...so I think the future will be amazing with this kid.

Bluegrass and sooo much more. The side trips he takes with synthesizers, heavy electric rhythm bangs and solos take the bluegrass part to a whole other level. And a voice blueprinted for this music.

New Grass Revival was using a similar technique with electric modification of the banjo 25 years ago. Then Hot Rize followed along that same path.

I've not ever heard anything quite like this sheer musical grandeur of Billy (and the rest of the superb band too!) before. Such talent and presence and spirit. Astounding. Jaw-dropping.
Damn fine pickin' and singing! I can't imagine many times when Scranton sounded so good! My Great Grandfather helped mine the coal out of those hills many years ago, and I can't imagine he was ever treated to such a fine musical event during his time. I CAN imagine how much he would have enjoyed it though, sure he would have loved to dance and stomp his heart out if performers as fine as yourselves had come along during his time. Well done, Billy Strings, each and every one you you. Thanks.

Ken Jones It’s Billy Strings. I’m 67 and just found these guys. I was in the hospital for three days with pneumonia. They came and made me turn it down a couple times. (I Pad). They are best listened to LOUD.

I learned today that John Hartford originally wrote All Fall Down. Although I still think Jeff Austin and Billy do it better. It works so well as an extended jam.
