- In arguably the biggest role of his career, Jonathan Majors stars alongside Michael B. Jordan in the thrilling third instalment of the blockbuster Rocky spinoff franchise, Creed. Taking place seven years after the events of the last film, we find Jordan’s Adonis ‘Donnie’ Creed thriving in his personal and professional life, but the ghosts of the past are never far from view.
Here, the actor takes us through what training was like in the lead up to the film, and what he learnt in the process.

A transcendent actor. You can feel what he feels just off his facial expressions alone when he acts. This villain Dame he created, you understood everything - even if you didn’t agree.
When Dame asked Tessa Thompson how if felt when Kehlani was was singing her song... definitely gave insight on his internalized feelings towards Creed
@@breezeboxing3249 and he brought that up at the house before. He wanted Adonis & Bianca to have issues too.
An absolute honor to have this guy in this industry. You couldn't have said it better
He made very relatable expressions. and used real talk. He was good
Agree with the facials
Jonathan Majors and Michael B Jordan are taking over Hollywood... can't wait to see Creed III.
It 100% does not disappoint.
It was really disappointing unfortunately
@@thegraciefighter102 nah
@@shoutenry nah Jonathan majors saved it tbh Michael b Jordan needs a lot more experience directing some stuff was better left out
@@thegraciefighter102 : And you're a jealous loser who knows nothing about movies.
The movie was well worth the money. The fight scenes were amazing but man the characterization for both Adonis and damian were top notch, you cant help but understand that rage and fuel of damian trying to have another shot at his dream at the cost of everyone if needed and Adonis having to deal with what that means
I especially loved when the fight jumped from round 3 to 12 and I had no sense of who was winning. And when the protagonist came back to take more from his former friend he never made amends then left him in the dark by himself because he "had to be stopped" doing what... Idk
It was extremely anti-climactic. A lot of inconsistencies and unnecessary happenings that didn't contribute to the story starting with Creed's mothers' death. I thought she was supposed to maybe serve as some sort of motivation, but they just killed her off maybe to help with the next movie they may or not make Idk.
Then, the entire story between Dame and Adonis, him (Dame) going away for 2 decades for pulling out a gun and not using it just isn't realistic. I get Dame's anger with Adonis not checking on him all those years, but his mother 1. Didn't let him see the letters especially with him rising to stardom and Donnie I believe told him that 2. After what happened in the sparring session and the talk Duke had with Donnie hed definitely wouldn't give him a title shot afterwards even with the assault on Drago 3. When Adonis did confront Dame, the previous build-up between them didn't give his (Dame) anger and aggression during that scene justice. And after beefing it out and fighting for him to then be like, "I-I guess you did learn some moves without me" (As if he became a heavyweight champ on his own with no professional trainers that weren't you lol) ... "It aint had nothing to do with you; it's not your fault" when just before you thought Donnie running away to be a sign of cowardice ON TOP of being a fraud who didn't care about you for not checking in while you were incarcerated. And he was pissed at the fact that Donnie was LIVING HIS LIFE and yet chose to forget about him.
Everything before the confrontation on the beach (other than Dame screwing Adonis over of course), it seemed everything had been sorted out making what happened after just stupid.
What made the movie watchable was the just the raw emotion and how the dynamic of the relationships fit together. And then the end fight it was very cool and creative how that went about, and I peeped the Dragon Ball references... Overall, they were extremely talented actors playing in a bad movie essentially. But that's really most of the Rocky-Creed movies. The plot always seems to be rushed and straightforward...
All things aside though it was the best movie out of the entire franchise for sure.
Loved him in Quantumania and look forward to seeing him in this
Two amazing actors here.
This man was phenomenal. I got chills everytime he was in a scene in the ring and I couldn’t help but see the potential of majors doing a amazing job of maybe playing Mike Tyson in a movie coz holy shit does he resemble him so much in this movie and the way his character is in the ring
I swear I thought I was the only one that thought maybe he looked like a young Mike Tyson in creed 3
Yeah he would be a good choice to play Mike Tyson, he also have his demeanor. But I'm sure Jamie Foxx, will do an awsome Job playing Iron Mike.
@@MrCameramanJ Jamie is playing an older version of Iron Mike
Bro I just posted almost the same comment. Yes he looks like prime Mike Tyson.
100% agreed! Definitely looks like a young Mike T!
Bro this dude can act didn't think he would be that good my goodness between him and Adonis daughter that movie is a master class
What an excellent character he played. Just outstanding.
like that last comment. "I could handle myself before but now it looks a little different probably a bit cleaner" Awesome.
Saw this last night. JM was 💯
Love this man. I hope to see a lot more of him. Really think he is a big part of the future for Hollywood.
Jonathan majors is one of the most underrated actors these days
hes an awesome person and actor
@@Jewdacris91 Not sure if he's underrated anymore. He's had an amazing couple of years now.
Really cool that we get to compare/contrast him in two major roles in theaters at the moment. One thing that has really stood out to me and my friends in his posture from character to character. Dude deserves to be a major name in Hollywood right now.
LOOOOOL
@@latroletteeeee Yeah, that didn’t age well.
This guy is inspiring af.
Jonathan is so humble.
I like Jonathan Majors. Good actor!
He did a great job! Very convincing adversary for Adonis
amazing actor, amazing movie. I am floored by how good the creed series has been. I remember rolling my eyes at the first trailer in 2015 and man was I wrong! There is rarely a time where i say "I want a ______ 4" , but damn, i want a creed IV already!
He did one hell of a job. I hope to see much more of Majors in the future!!
Yes and less woman beating and strangulation of woman in real life. Only a loser that's 5 times bigger than a woman puts his hands on a woman
Wrong to say that b4 the trial happens if he is guilty den ill join in 2😭
Same way, Michael took in the character, I see Majors, taking in his character as well. It makes the character in person feel that much more realistic.
Dude is a legend in the making, gaaaahdayum hell of a performance.
Damn we born the same year but he looks 10years older than me. But all that aside, this dude's acting is phenomenal and I dont even use words like that😂
This movie was incredible
These guys are both great and both have been a part of some of the biggest franchises ever (Rocky and Marvel).
This guy is gonna be around a long time his acting skills is impressive
I truly believed he had boxing experience the way he moved in the movie seemed so natural
If they did an avengers infinty war endgame type of thing and let Dames story cook this wouldve hit harder. The movie was superb a bit rushed but superb nonetheless. I love the anime style cinematics when it comes to the 'boxing sense'. Crazy movie.
I thought I was the only one who thought this.. I wish the fight would’ve been a rocky vs drago type fight.. to me it would’ve been better if it was a draw and rocky 4 was the conclusion,, dame beat the shit out of creed but creed fight through it enough to survive.. and I wish they would’ve focus more on Damian and creed brotherhood more
Just seen it ... Was good
I saw this movie past Sunday it was really great and I loved everything about this movie ❤❤❤❤
Another variant of Kang the conqueror as a boxer in this universe
😂
this was the best movie i saw and Dame's character is so well explained that i was rooting for him the whole movie that i thought michael was the villan. and bieng najors is younger than michael i wish to see him win more fights.
Looks like a wonderful man ,good actor
He made me tear so hard in hostiles, amazing movie! Creed 111 was amazing
Hollywood has found a huge acting talent im Jonathan Majors.

He is the oppisite of the Liver King. Strong Black dedication. A huge inspiration for me and my young son.
Both on steroids by the look of it though

He played the role perfect. You were almost on his side the whole time even when he showed his nasty side. The cafe scene was realllllllll
Yeah acting was an incredible, which is saying something because the movie wasn't good

Majors seems to be this generation’s Denzel.
I’ve been saying this. So versatile.
Sensing the vibes too...😳
No
@@noahthevisionary1343 Not as versatile as Denzel
I can see it coming.
I like this guy!
There is that one scene in the movie when he's running in through Hollywood and you see the Hollywood sign and he yells and they really missed the opportunity to make an iconic movie moment he should've yelled Damien and start punching the air...then the movie would have been 10/10
Damn he my age..I need to work out
just saw the movie. Jonathan was built like a tank in this movie, so jacked
The movie was good and Dame remind me to prime Mike Tyson... such a great character.
Does anyone else just want to do pushups?
Started shadow boxing my friends after watching this haha
No. I wanna do those high pull ups.
You can do pushups a foot away from your bed, chicken legs
Facts! Lol
He’s a trained actor and you can tell.
I know they said Jamie foxx is gonna play Tyson ….but nah man…this guy should play Tyson
REAL GOOD MOVIE❗
Hard work is interesting to behold, thank you
Trenbalogny sandwiches and lots of chicken and rice. What a stud. Lots of hard work and booty shots to get ready for this film.
And broccoli. Eat clen, tren hard, anavar give up.
Well spoken brother!
dude went from Kang the Conqueror to this monster. What an amazing actor
Marvel should take some notes, THAT'S how you build a character's ethos; He as Dame is WAY MORE MENACING than Kang.
you know :), i like this guy.
Killmonger vs Kang
Jonathan Majors😤
I'm excited for this movie...I thought it would be cool if Damion and Drago fought...Drago wins (cause I like him), but Drago is left "not the same".
Then you have a Creed vs Damion fight.
No Damian wins
my left ear enjoyed this
A very talented guy.
I dont care what anyone says. This was a Oscar mention worthy performance. Just saying that his name should be named when discussing next years Oscar for supporting actor.
Yup no effort needed. Everything should be Oscar these days. Not
@@DimitriTheBarbarian Okey man
That shot with the family sitting in a prison with the inmates cheering Creed on, did anyone see that in the film? I sure missed it if it was in there.
The movie was pretty good 💪🏾
I like to think of this as Killmonger vs. Kang. 🤗
Nice video.
Yea but the audio sucks!!!!
Creed was not a good film. He is however an INCREDIBLE actor. Lovecraft Country, Magazine Dreams, he is for sure the real deal! He has really good range.
His gas has changed lol
He has some Beautiful Skin🖤😍
Don't forget the deca and test
Never forget that these hollywood actors take the best possible performance enhancing drugs available on the market...they don't look the way they look from running a couple of miles, doing push ups, sit ups and ropes
Just realized they cut some scenes from the film, and not just a few
I’m doing push ups while watching this
He should have been Clubber Lang’s kid.
Everybody woulda shitted on this film then
That’s lazy writing.
@@thatbronzeboij And fighting Drago’s kid wasn’t lazy?
@@williamsmith8790drago’s kid is something to be expected. It would have been cheesy to continue down the road of rocky opponents.
@@leechristopher9307 Well, I just watched this one and the cheese factor was pretty high in the third act. Mr T as a corner man for Kang might have been a high point.
Juice Juice Juice
He looks like a young Don DC Curry!
This cat looks way older than Jordan…
That’s the point the character was older than him in the movie
Look like he was born in 1952. Will be checking for buddy
Look very mature for his age 34. Years old.
Lovecraft country was powerful
He's only 33. We need Drago vs Dam
He looks he part of the Jackson 5
he was great in Creed 3. really stole the movie, to me.
Tyson? He’s got to play Mike!
Did he say he was born 1989😳
Yeah I thought he was older too.
I will watch everything majors is in. big fan
same! been catching up with his stuff recently. he killed Last Black Man in San Francisco

bro, my Catholic high school competed against a prominent black high school and many of their black athletes are naturally ripped like that. Their bodies are blessed with genetics.

It's def not natural. They just worked harder on their fitness than their competition.
Killmonger vs. Kang
Jonathan Majors is the only good thing about the movie. Change my mind.
Man… I can’t help but feel like his talent is wasted as kang. He would kill it as the next black panther. I mean… the built, the Afrocentric features, his versatility, I can’t think of a better fit for the role. Unfortunately, I doubt that they’ll let him play 2 major roles in the mcu
Chicken, rice and broccoli, that famous Hollywood diet.
I WAS BORN IN 1983
The movie was alright. How you gna not include Rocky Balboa ? It was missing something and that was it. It showed Creed was more of a businessman and creating "the fight" instead of moving with the times of Creed and Balboa.
SMASH N GRAB
This guy should of done a Mike Tyson film
I wonder how many hours of sleep this guy gets??? I mean, working out, running 3 miles per day, and acting?!?! Maybe 4 hours a night if he's lucky 🤔 🤷🤷♂️🤷♀️
Definitely 8 hours, look at Sugar Sean, he gets at least 8 closer to 10 hrs a night, and still uses the other 14 to tackle what he needs done.
I can imagine with how focus and dedicated Majors' is, he probably has a block schedule and gets his 8 every night
That's Kane bruh
He would be better in Tyson movie.
Majors would be the perfect Iron Mike.
I was thinking the same if they ever make a Mike Tyson movie he's it to play him.
A little bit of chicken, rice and broccoli
