- Join me for a tour of the completely gutted and renovated 'Former Houseboat' in the game House Flipper 2.
I spent WAY too much money on this property due to making mistakes while learning new game mechanics (the roof) and indecision causing several re-dos of things. Oh well. Virtual money for the win.
I want to give an inspiration credit and shoutout to @ataraxisbuildsthings429 for the walled garden. While mine is different than theirs, as soon as I saw their beautiful garden on the same property, I had to have me one of them! Beautiful renovation! I have been thinking about renovating an existing house in game but I want to do it in sandbox....I'm not sure if I can or if that would even go over well but it would be fun! Watching videos like this makes me want to try it even more! 😊
If anyone can do it, you can! I haven't even dipped my toes in Sandbox Mode yet as I got the game a month late. Not sure of it's capabilities but there are so many talented people playing this game and I'd love to see your version of story mode houses in sandbox. :-) Thank you for the thumbs up on reno - I enjoyed this one so much!
Wow incredible.. makes me realise i am playing it too narrow minded. two little things jumped out to me though one... the upstairs door from the bedroom to the terrace need to be flipped so it opens agains the window and not into the room blocking the route out.. and what are those flashing light things...?
Thanks for your comments! The flashing lights are supposedly reflections in the glass. Kind of annoying, eh? I hope the developers have tweaked that (or will in future).
Your video movement is so smooth, do you use a controller? I do. If so, is there a way to avoid "walking over" items which lifts you up as you walk? Also, I didn't notice the cursor highlighting in-game items. I wish there was a way to turn off the highlight. Do you actively avoid pointing at items or know a way to remove them? When I'm immersed in making my tours, I can't always concentrate on avoiding highlighting. Nice property and video!!
Thanks! Yes, I use a controller. Before I film, I do a dry-run to see if I hop over anything but it's not perfect. I still do that annoying little jump up from time to time. And yes, I turn off the HUD (Shift H) before filming but I'm don't really try to avoid the highlighting of items; hopefully the Devs will give us the ability to turn that off soon.
