A God that cannot be questioned is not a true God but a creation of a human mind. The duty of every human being is to through reasoned faith. Test God before you decide to put your deliverance in his hands.
Allah the God of the Kaabah hates to be questioned and muslim are told not to question Allah. That fact itself proves that islam is not a true religion.

I don't know why but I feel like he wants to be muslim, but only habluminannas, [doing good to parent n other creations, give charity,etc] but doesn't want to pray 5times, fasting etc.
He doesn't know that pray 5 times, fasting, etc is for us, Allah is our creator so He knows we need it, our soul need it, our body need it, not because Allah need it.
I would recommend him to take shadah first then do research about the spiritual n physically benefits of pray 5 times n fasting.
I feel like Allah blessed me by letting me born in a Family that Believes in Allah (SWT) and Follows what Muhammad SAW (PBUH) taught us.

This guy is kinda like me.
I'm not a muslim. But if I knew the Quran is from Allah, I would submit, learn about it and try to memorize it. I'm finnishing reading the Quran (a translation) and I've been looking into Islam for months. But up until now I wasn't convinced. I watched hundreds of hours of content on Islam just out of curiosity. But up until now I haven't been convinced. To me it just seems like a cultural thing and too human to be divine.
If Allah exists, then might Allah guide me.
Allah and the God of the Bible are not the same God. The Quran was written 600 years after Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected. There were over 500 witnesses that saw Jesus after he was crucified. The Bible was written by 40 inspired men of God over 4000 years and it has no contradictions. Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no man goes to heaven but by through Jesus. The Quran was inspired by an angel told to Mohammed who couldn't read or write, nobody knows who wrote the Quran. Follow Jesus, he is still alive, Mohammed is dead.
There are a plethora of contradictions in the Bible.
You must have not read it.
You are correct that the current Bible has a different God than Muslims.
The Bible teachings are different than what Jesus Christ taught. Jesus said there is only one God. The Bible and the Church preach a triune God. This is not a monotheistic God.
Even Jews do not consider the God of Christians to be the same God. They do however accept that Muslims worship one God and he is the same God that they worship.
Muslims worship the God of Abraham, the God of Moses, the God of Jesus and the God of Muhammad peace be upon them all.
May God guide you to see the truth. Bible was written by humans which explains the numerous errors and contradictions. No one can replicate the Quran and the Quran is the direct word of God. It will remain unchanged and it is memorized and unchanged.
May Allah guide you brother. His signs are everywhere, may your heart be open to see them. Consider also visiting your local Mosque if that's possible.
I just want to tell you Judaism Christianity and Islam all brought the same massage which is to worship one God but through time people corrupted the massage so Allah sent prophet after another for people to worship him alone until Islam came and the shytan couldn't corrupt it so Allah didn't divide us he trying to wake people up and unit them and to follow only him. Aslo it isn't a culture thing because you can find religion Islam for ex everywhere not at a certain nation.

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ
O, people! We created you from a male and a female, and We made you races and tribes, so that you may come to know one another
49:13 Surah al-Hujurat

There are no religious scriptures that have been safeguarded and protected until today except the Quran.
Allah SWT promised to protect the Quran, and today it is in its pure form.

The question he kept referring to was what’s the difference between all the religions. I would have liked the brother to tell him how all the ‘Abrahamic’ religions are from the same God but the previous ones have been corrupted and that’s how they contain mistakes etc and how the Quran has been preserved through memorisation and how Hadith have chains of narration going back to the prophet himself.
Exactly what i thought. People think there are many religions. But they're the same message from Adam pbuh all the way to the profet Muhamad pbuh. Submission to Allah almighty is the message.All profets submitted their will to the creator, in other words they where muslims. And Allah swt says in the holy Qoran also that its the only religion exepted from us. Peace and guidance to all❤
What is “Good” is subjective. Different people have their own understanding of good. Only Allah(God) knows what is good for us. Some people follow Allah’s commands to do good because of the rewards (eventually paradise). Some people follow Allah’s commands to avoid punishments (eventually hellfire).
Allah created us and He knows human psychology. That’s why He wants us to follow Him so that we can qualify for Paradise with His mercy. Allah wants all of us to go to Paradise. The choice is ours to follow Him or not.

Ustadz Nouman Ali Khan once said in his lecture as muslim our persue isnt happiness, because if you persue happiness, it is the most basic things that you will find without work, you can find happy when you lay in your bed scrolling tiktok after half hour and get paid, as a muslim the persue we need to work is persue of excellence, we need to work hard to beat our best version as servant of Allah, if you have the best day as being muslim by doing all the deeds that you can get in one day, as muslim you need to at least wanna feels that again or wanna be better than that version by doing more work for the sake of Allah in the next day,...

I've just pondered about this the other day...about good, bad, our right and and God's right. I think we need to contemplate deeper about our entitlement. What makes us feel we have right to anything at all? where this entitlement really comes from? Who/what gives us this right? Is it justified? etc... We rarely think about this deeply, but we should. The more we ponder basic question like this and trace it from its root, the more we understand what its all really about and act accordingly.
especially when it was us who accepted the challenge for this test, ALLAH SWT did not forced it on us.

MashaAllah that was a good discussion. Would like to make just one important point. When someones thinks they are a good person and will therefore go to heaven and does not need to worship Allah or obey Him in the way He has commanded, then just ask/say one sentence to them:
"So what you are saying in essence is that you think your intellect, your opinion, your logic makes more sense than what HE your Creator has Commanded? Your thinking is better than HIS?"
They will immediately realise how arrogant that is and their submission to Allah's Will is NOT complete.
The devil was knowledgeable but reason he is doomed is because he disobeyed and become arrogant. NO one can have an "opinion" on whats right or not after Allah Has declared something mandatory categorically like obedience, worship. Ofcourse we fall short but falling short is not the same as thinking I know better. Astagfirullah. May He Make us steadfast and Continue to Forgive our shortcomings every time we ask and even when we forget and dont ask! Ameen. Summa Ameen

That is why the Quran was sent and so on… point by point.

Hi brother , If you still have questions. Can I point you to the lectures if Jeffrey Lang - an atheists perspective of the Quran. It’s a 2 part lecture which is just over 4 hours in total. Jeffrey was a non Muslim professor who accepted Islam , he’s questions about life and religion were tough and questions we all are looking to answers for in some way. If you’re not gripped within the first 30/40min you don’t have to take it further. We will remember you in our prayers brother.
