A God that cannot be questioned is not a true God but a creation of a human mind. The duty of every human being is to through reasoned faith. Test God before you decide to put your deliverance in his hands.
Allah the God of the Kaabah hates to be questioned and muslim are told not to question Allah. That fact itself proves that islam is not a true religion.

I'm not a muslim. But if I knew the Quran is from Allah, I would submit, learn about it and try to memorize it. I'm finnishing reading the Quran (a translation) and I've been looking into Islam for months. But up until now I wasn't convinced. I watched hundreds of hours of content on Islam just out of curiosity. But up until now I haven't been convinced. To me it just seems like a cultural thing and too human to be divine.

Allah and the God of the Bible are not the same God. The Quran was written 600 years after Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected. There were over 500 witnesses that saw Jesus after he was crucified. The Bible was written by 40 inspired men of God over 4000 years and it has no contradictions. Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no man goes to heaven but by through Jesus. The Quran was inspired by an angel told to Mohammed who couldn't read or write, nobody knows who wrote the Quran. Follow Jesus, he is still alive, Mohammed is dead.
There are a plethora of contradictions in the Bible.
You must have not read it.
You are correct that the current Bible has a different God than Muslims.
The Bible teachings are different than what Jesus Christ taught. Jesus said there is only one God. The Bible and the Church preach a triune God. This is not a monotheistic God.
Even Jews do not consider the God of Christians to be the same God. They do however accept that Muslims worship one God and he is the same God that they worship.
Muslims worship the God of Abraham, the God of Moses, the God of Jesus and the God of Muhammad peace be upon them all.
May God guide you to see the truth. Bible was written by humans which explains the numerous errors and contradictions. No one can replicate the Quran and the Quran is the direct word of God. It will remain unchanged and it is memorized and unchanged.
May Allah guide you brother. His signs are everywhere, may your heart be open to see them. Consider also visiting your local Mosque if that's possible.
I just want to tell you Judaism Christianity and Islam all brought the same massage which is to worship one God but through time people corrupted the massage so Allah sent prophet after another for people to worship him alone until Islam came and the shytan couldn't corrupt it so Allah didn't divide us he trying to wake people up and unit them and to follow only him. Aslo it isn't a culture thing because you can find religion Islam for ex everywhere not at a certain nation.

O, people! We created you from a male and a female, and We made you races and tribes, so that you may come to know one another

There are no religious scriptures that have been safeguarded and protected until today except the Quran.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 747 Abu Hurairah narrated that: the Messenger of Allah said: "Deeds are presented on Monday and Thursday, and I love that my deeds be presented while I am fasting."
Went to get a free Quran thinking it may be different from the one I have then thought this needs to be for a person who has none! I then noticed the chat. I ended up returning home and completed the Shahada. Unexplainable how I felt. Allahu Akbar.

I've just pondered about this the other day...about good, bad, our right and and God's right. I think we need to contemplate deeper about our entitlement. What makes us feel we have right to anything at all? where this entitlement really comes from? Who/what gives us this right? Is it justified? etc... We rarely think about this deeply, but we should. The more we ponder basic question like this and trace it from its root, the more we understand what its all really about and act accordingly.
especially when it was us who accepted the challenge for this test, ALLAH SWT did not forced it on us.

As a revert, I think he is trying to understand God not the obligations to God. He isn't saying I don't want to worship Allah. He is saying would Allah punish those who don't worship him. The answer I think is Allah forgives all sin except disbelief itself, as He wills. No human being can say whether Allah will judge a particular person this way or that way, we only say what is fard what is haram what is sunnah or makruh etc. We only know what Allah guided us to, and He does not share in His judgement at all

Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission?

Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating others with Him, but forgives anything else of whoever He wills. And whoever associates others with Allah has indeed committed a grave sin.

The first question is fully answered in Chapter 103 of the Quran. God says we are in a losing situation in terms of time....unless we do 1 to 4 things.
The first is undivided belief in God, which is an act of worship, which saves a person from the "nightmare of disbelief".
Second is doing good deeds and thereby becoming a good person in deed not just belief.
Third is working with good people to enjoin truth and goodness at the social level.
Fourth is patiently enduring in 1-3 above as a good society.
Of course the reward from God is according to the intentions and efforts.
There is no punishment for sincere belief without works, but the reward is certainly much lower than those who believe and regularly do good deeds and enjoin goodness on society. Lost opportunity cost.
When being questioned about sort of things that we couldnt understands such as questions that are only meant for Him(Allah) being asks to us, we should answer them with the word 'Iman' (faith), islam has given us that term to consolidate to the things that our brain couldnt perceived as his creations eventhough He(Allah) encourages us to use our mind and ask us to pursue knowledge to read.
Because even in Islam, to be a good muslim, moderation and balance is the key to understands what are meant for us to know and what are the things that arent meant for us to know, example ; 1. the balance of existance of mind(logic) and heart(faith), 2. the balance existance of spiritual in life and hereafter, 3. the balance of existance of taking care of our jasad (physical body) and spiritual(soul). The words 'Iman'(faith), is something that is being put to us as a test to use all that we have been given to seek and believe what is right and which is wrong and use it as our guidance to believe.

MashaAllah that was a good discussion. Would like to make just one important point. When someones thinks they are a good person and will therefore go to heaven and does not need to worship Allah or obey Him in the way He has commanded, then just ask/say one sentence to them:
"So what you are saying in essence is that you think your intellect, your opinion, your logic makes more sense than what HE your Creator has Commanded? Your thinking is better than HIS?"
They will immediately realise how arrogant that is and their submission to Allah's Will is NOT complete.
The devil was knowledgeable but reason he is doomed is because he disobeyed and become arrogant. NO one can have an "opinion" on whats right or not after Allah Has declared something mandatory categorically like obedience, worship. Ofcourse we fall short but falling short is not the same as thinking I know better. Astagfirullah. Hi brother , If you still have questions. Can I point you to the lectures if Jeffrey Lang - an atheists perspective of the Quran. It’s a 2 part lecture which is just over 4 hours in total. Jeffrey was a non Muslim professor who accepted Islam , he’s questions about life and religion were tough and questions we all are looking to answers for in some way. If you’re not gripped within the first 30/40min you don’t have to take it further. We will remember you in our prayers brother.

his questions from the min 5 and onwards actually have answers from Quran, and his genuine ideas can be discussed and have very rational arguments that will satisfy him! I am sad that the gentleman dismissed these questions as not known, and even the argument that he put for "Creator isn't questioned but we are questioned", it is true, but it isn't the premise we start from, it is rationally justified when you know the attributes of the Creator, and that of humans too.
So I am also confused and would like to know an answer to a question from minute number 5...

When you question another' religion, you are in fact questioning your own.

Worshipping God is by following the guidance that He sent to us.
Al-Baqarah verse 26 mention that the purpose existence of many religion.
Imam al-Ghazali mention there is 3 type of situation:
1. Never known nor hear Islam, this person is forgiven.
2. Known Islam, live with TRUE Islamic community but ignorant, this person is not forgiven.
3. Known Islam but from false source, portrayed as bad religion, this person is forgiven
Brother dawah was good. But as Muslim child growing up i had similar question in regards of “why God create human and condemn us to hellfire” ..”why don’t make us all angel”..”why create different race and colour among humans “ …..there are answers for these questions if u really find them. Only question of “Why Allah create different kind of creations wjen Allah don’t require our worships” only that question i return to Him. He is the AllWise.
