You can. The pedals have a few minor internal differences, time-constant settings are different, the preamp inside runs a hair different. But the FET can still would fantastic on bass and some people prefer it.
We see these as upgrades and there are obviously feature and sonic differences between the models. Whether those upgrades are worth it to you is always going to be a personal decision. They're available at Origin Effects dealers now, should you want to try one out for yourself.

@@hekakain4108 The Cali76 redesign was something that needed to happen regardless, just sorta, matter of fact. We understand that for some this will be a release they have little need to jump on. But for those looking for a Cali, we hope the upgrades we added please them!

Just got myself the new Bass Compressor today.. It's noticeably smaller, and I really love the lights. Can't wait to try it out !!
