- it's been a while, but hi everyone! i've finally had the time to vlog and post after months of preparing and planning for my big move. my first day went better than i expected and it's been fun vlogging and bringing my camera along again. i hope you had fun watching, oh and welcome to my new little series of vlogs to come; journal entries in the UK.

Welcome! Oh dear, did you say that you thought it was cold now? Just wait, by the end of your first winter you will have become an expert at layering.
Basically, you'll find that you're wearing almost everything that you own. The weather will get very cold, wet and gloomy and you may not see the sun
for days (or weeks). Don't worry, we go through it every year and we survive just fine so you just have to ignore it, like we do. Best wishes for your
studies and remember to get out and about when you can. The Lake District is just up the road!!!.............................the ancient Englishman.
